Cods

Perhaps NC could get a copy of this game. Hull had won 4 on the bounce and Fleetwood had a makeshift defence. Coutts and Whelan (combined age 68) worked tirelessly and drove the Cods to victory.

I think we have the makings of a decent side with some very talented young players. However, successful sides usually have a mix that includes a least a couple of players with a reasonable amount of experience and nous.

I accept that this is a short term strategy, rather than a "long term plan" but maybe a plan could be developed to target a couple a experienced players on 12 months contracts each season.

Just a thought!

Indeed not but I’am sure you’ll join me in saying had it been P2 L2 a few on here would have already commented on it the same had the Cod’s got beat the other night, we only seem to comment on them when they get beat.

Other than the 70+ thread on them Friday night.
