Codwatch

A small club or not they have indeed impacted on our small catchment area, so them falling back towards their level is welcome of we went to help Blackpool grow.

We should also be pushing hard in those areas as well.
Impacted on us?

FFS they only get watched by 2,000 on a good day so some impact it is. 🤣

And those 2k wouldn’t ever go to Bloomfield road whatever league Fleetwood end up in.

For me it needs something pre season for the first game maybe, or tbh it would work for any game if well advertised through all the local social media pages etc.

You could do a ST holders can bring x fans for x amount, like SS did when he first got the club. Or a new fan special.

On those sort of deals you aren't really losing a lot, as any who haven't been before wouldn't have come, so getting them in in any way possible is with the hope that some enjoy it and return.

This is also why covid cost us, having only 4k in the playoff game and Wembley was costly. Usually it would be a full house and 25k+ to Wembley, those casuals who go to those games are thrn more likely attended in future games the following season.

So being promoted with fans in attendance would be huge, as price etc is a factor but you can't beat success and a feelgood factor.
Great suggestions JJ it's getting the chance to offer the club your guidance. I know it's possible, bloke I work with has lived here for over 20yrs & even though he lives off Lytham Rd, was following AFC Fylde. By the time he'd paid for a parking space on top of his ST it was virtually the same as an ST to watch us in the Championship. Got him coming with me in the North, loves it & drinks regularly in the Armfield. He's coming to Wigan/Carlisle away with me & even bringing his missus who also now 🟠⚽️.

There's some who defected and some who live in that area who have said they've been pushing hard in the Thornton Cleveleys area and a lot of kids were cods in that area. Was it @tangerine_neil ?

I didn't say it was huge but the more pool fans the better. Having another club so close is bound to have some impact, so if they fall away to their level that impact is less.

Not sure about my guidance lol just obvious suggestions to me. Tbh the new guy Winter, who took over from Mansford, will probably have his own idea's. He's only just got settled so it'll be interesting to see what he does. Or also what the community trust do.

I can't imagine many deals came from SS, bar the very 1st one before he had people in place.

That's it, we just need to get people through the door and that'll happen through success, big games, deals, good pricing etc. Get them in and get them hooked.

Yeah. Read that also, but it wasn’t me who mentioned it.

Well that result will upset one or two on here 3-0 against a team we couldn’t even beat at home well done CA26.

Fylde 0-3 as well and out of the relegation zone.

Almost a good day for Fylde coast football. 😫
