I can't understand the antipathy by some people to the Welsh, Scots and Irish.

They are home nations and should be supported by all true Englishmen at all times

Not sure it was a blatant red to be honest.

That said Argentina deserved it wether they would have won it with a man down we’ll never know.

Even Matt Dawson said it was blatant. Deserved it? We battered em first half. No confidence the game changed when an English ref came on.

Can you understand the almost universal hatred from the Welsh, Scots and Irish towards England?

That's certainly what changed my opinion. I couldn't care less about rugby, but Welsh fans insisting that I was a) English b) devastated about some six nations loss and c) Cardiff Soul Crew trying to beat up random students from England readjusted my attitude to the point where I'm quite glad when they lose.

It's comparable to Bolton claiming their main rivals are Man United. Most United fans go from..."traditional lancs club, Jay Jay Okocha was good, wish them well" to "oh, you hate us with an obsession...so I guess...fuck off?"

Anyway, I look forward to all the supportive posts when England play tomorrow.

Our King is your head of state, our parliament makes your grown up decisions, you use our money and most of you rely on our language to communicate. Basically Cornwall with an attitude problem. Nos da poppet 😁

Yes, but there's a difference between banter and sporting preferences and actual hatred. In the unlikely scenario that Wales or another home nation got invaded I'd be their biggest ally. For relatively unimportant stuff like sport, fuck 'em. It's not that deep. :)

I wanted Wales to win pal. I remember what the Argies did to Simon Weston and his colleagues whilst he was out there on the front line trying to iron them spicks out.

Funnily enough the ENGLISH ref gave every single decision to Wales when he came on…..granted until the dodgy red card decision. I don’t know enough about Rugby to determine wether it was 100% a red but it did look like one, but before half time the Welsh lad looked to get away with own when he took a argue out off the ball, presumably should of had a yellow for that? Argentina we’re awful whilst Wales went 10-0 up but as soon as the Argies began to battle back I thought Wales were dreadful, really poor handling errors and just didn’t appear to cope with the pressure. Make no qualms about it Argentina deserved to beat Wales and it has nothing to do with the English farmer ref.

Personally I think it would be a travesty if an England were the furthest Northern Hemisphere team to compete in this World Cup as they’ve been awful for ages yet it could well happen. If they do get to the Semis they will get absolutely smashed.

I used to live next door to a Scots bloke and his Welsh wife they used to have a pop at me at every opportunity wether it be parking, noise, anything they could even had a go at me for cutting my grass one Sunday morning as he said they were having a lay it it was 11am FFS.

Never been the same since I told them to fu*k off back home. ☺️

The ref who took over the Wales game yesterday has been told he's no longer required for the tournament.
I'm pretty sure I heard you moaning about disallowed goals in Euros and World Cups before. You're rewriting history!
