Common theme running through these home games

Having watched all the home games only there appears several things which are happening in each match.
1 All the goals conceded have been as a result of sloppy play, yes even the first Ipswich goal even though the actual goal was well taken.
2 The midfield ,with the possible exception of Robson, are not imposing themselves or dominating possession in order to create opportunities for the strikers.
3 The shots on goal or opposition keeper saves in home matches is almost non existent. Yates may have been good at Swindon but he was getting good service. CJ so far has been relying on long passes from Turton which have become too predictable.
4 There appears to be a lack of desire to chase 50/50 balls and trying to regain the ball quickly when losing possession.
5 Since Spearing left we do not appear to have any outfield player cajoling the team and trying to motivate the players.

Yes we have had a lot of new players and yes luck comes into it so it does take time for a team to gell and you make your own luck but right now the game plan looks very predictable and the opposition have sussed it out
What worries me is that most people say after 10 games you have an idea how your season will go but 10 games is a quarter of the season......

I take it you've not seen the away games? If not, I can tell you that the story's exactly the same.

In that case is it a question of coaching methods needing changing or is it tactics/team formation which needs to be addressed ?

I think the point about Midfield bite is an interesting one - we have a lot of young legs and against experience and an older midfield they just can't compete.

If you look at the goals conceded, they're all from a cross wide to the back post, with the opposite full back too infield, allowing a free header or shot.
