Compare Kyle Joseph to another player?

Couldn't get there on Saturday due to a family commitment and so have yet to see Mr Joseph in action - if you were to describe him as being like one other player, who would you say?

He's strong looking, not afraid of going shoulder to shoulder with defenders but is not massively tall (I'd guess 6ft?), mobile but not rapid pace, movement always looks good and he can score with feet or head but particularly seems to have a decent left foot.

Can't think of a great comparison but style wise, maybe a Mark Cullen type (but slightly taller)?

By left foot do you mean right foot?

Agree with BFC4EVA we've seen nothing of him yet to make any comparisons
He took his goal brilliantly though and one thing that is 100% guaranteed is that as soon as he has a poor game then the usual suspects on here will be slagging him off to fcuk.

No sorry I meant to suggest he looks very 2 footed, scores goals from outside the box with his left foot. Also in the training video with Gabriel you really couldn't tell which footed he was. It's a great and rare attribute to have IMO.

He's bigger than I remember, seems to have filled out a little. He's a bit like Jerry in terms of pace, quick but not rapid. He took his goal very well but forming a comparison based on 30mins of league football isn't easy. Maybe James Quinn if I were pushed

Hell of an assessment based on very little football. Impressive (not sarky either).

Oddly, I thought Scott Vernon with pace. Tall and tidy on the ball but not really a physical target man type. Better feet than Beesley.

Maybe a bit of Ryan Hardie in there?

We’ve not seen enough of the lad. Great finish Saturday with his right but that’s all we have at the moment. I’m pretty sure I read great things about him when he signed, so hopefully he’ll shine starting Saturday.
