I have a number of complimentary tickets on offer for tonight's event at Blackpool FC:

Acclaimed young playwright and actress Hannah Kumari is putting on her one-woman show ‘ENG-ER-LAND’ in Blackpool for one night only as part of her national tour to coincide with the 2022 UEFA Women’s EURO Championship. Sponsored by Blackpool Supporters’ Trust and Fans For Diversity, the evening – which includes a Q&A and a buffet – should appeal not only to football fans of all ages and genders but to anyone who enjoys good theatre. Doors open at 6.30 and the performance begins at 7.30 in the Matthews Suite.

Hannah’s father is Scottish (he used to take her to watch Rangers) and her mother is Indian. She fell in love with football as a teenager, then did a degree in Theatre and is now a playwright, performer and producer. With ‘ENG-ER-LAND’ she has brought both of those passions together.

Recent reviews have acclaimed it “a tour de force, flawlessly delivered”, “a joy to watch”, “a razor-sharp performance”, “leaves you alert and exhilarated”, an evening not to be missed.

Heard great things about this.

I’m playing a gig in sunny Widnes tonight otherwise would have definitely been there.

Get along if you can - highly recommended 👍

As an aside, I worked in beautiful Widnes for several years, it's known by some locals as being the only town where the birds have a cough.
A true fact from when I was there: If you live in Widnes, which was divided from Runcorn by a bridge (now 2) crossing the mersey, it was known as the 'Widnes / Runcorn bridge', but if you lived in Runcorn, it was always the 'Runcorn / Widnes bridge'.
Good luck with your gig, as the locals will certainly let you know if they don't rate you 🤣
