Congratulations to Evo.

He's got a big job on to keep them up next season. For a start, based on today they're going to have to start creating their own chances, rather than have the opposition create for them.

But pleased for the former pool there, they gave us some seriously good times.

I remember he got slated from a large section of Bolton fans for bringing in Ex Pool players saying they were all past it.

I wonder what these fans are thinking now?

Not out of his depth there at all at the time.
A tin pot 4th division club.

Let's see how his team gets on against the Massive, Charlton, Ipswich et al in
League 1, he may very well be out of his depth now.

It’s know-how isn’t it. They signed some good players but he appreciated the balance wasn’t right. What Gilks and Baps gave them was invaluable at that level.

Evatt wasn't happy having to be head coach working underneath a head of football operations so they got rid of the HOFO and made him manager with outright control before the January window opened and they started winning.

We made the manager role redundant when Grayson went to put that structure in place. Get the feeling it would never have worked without compromise.
 
Incredible start to his managerial career. His stock must be very high now. Let's see if the Wanderers new owners have the money to match his ambition. Evatt has worked wonders skilfully gathering together the Dads Army that was left from our 2010-2012 squad 😉

Number 30 really wants to get his name out there.

Good interview that. Intense fella who knows what he's doing. All three lads who've got their teams up from league two so far are the same. Good for the game.
 
Pleased for him. I’ve been following the results since he was nearly potted at the start of the year. Amazing run of results to go up. 👍
 
Remember Evo notching for us against Bolton in the away Prem game which ended 2-2. Funny where the game takes players and managers during their careers.
