Corbeanu returnes to Wolves...

Luxury player for us at the moment - he clearly has talent, but needs a bit more time to develop his decision making, and when to cross/cut in rather than beat another player.

Don’t think he had a fair enough crack whilst here which is unforgivable given our plight but thanks Theo for all your efforts.
If he hadn't been injured he would have played more. Not great defensively, but had an eye for goal.

Plenty of examples of him pushing the ball past a defender, sprinting after it and being both big enough and fast enough to beat them to the box/bye-line. Then?
Recall Jerry going after him and giving him a right bollocking in front of the West. Can also remember Theo scoring but not many of the team congratulating him. Not so popular?

Defensively has a lot to learn (too often caught in no-man's land) but he has talent - if he can improve defensively he will be a decent Championship player.

He scored three goals for us:

20 Aug - Burnley 3-3 Pool
27 Aug - Pool 3-3 Bristol
4 Sep - Udders 0-1 Pool

So a bright start from him and important points. He would have continued to improve and get more goals if only he'd played more and not been injured. I wouldn't blame him if he asked to go back to Wolves.

Thanks, Theo 👍

I don't think he was a great team player. Plenty of talent, but needs to look up more.
I think Jerry was having a go, because he had closed the keeper down for the 1,000th time this season and Theo was hanging around on the half way line.

Like him. Shame for him he didn't get his world cup place and we've broken him, but that's us this year. Wouldn't want to play against him if he goes back out on loan to the championship as you don't know what he's going to do next.

That said, we'd have a decent counter for that if Bowler IS returning to complete his season and they're starting to right some of the wrongs from last summer.
We've broken him, ha ha oh the negativity! But you are probably sure you are right, ignorance is bliss is suppose.

The wording on the official tweet is that Wolves have recalled him. So maybe Wolves think he can do a job for them in their relegation battle rather than him sitting on his arse doing nothing at the seaside.
The tweet states nothing about us sending him back to make room for Bowler, take the tangerine specs off.

Reason for the recall ⤵️

From my seat, 15-20yds to them. I couldn’t hear what Jerry said (shouted?) but his gesticulating said it all………he was not happy!
Water under the bridge now.

They'll just be managing his injury if it's not a quick recovery and it'll suit us to free up a squad place as all loans count towards the 25. They'll have a loans department or a U23 development squad manager there who's job it is to make it sound like every young player on their books is the best young player in the country.

Exactly right.

Had potential and he'll either go on to do really well or end up in League 1.
I agree. I think he’s suffered a bit by Appleton’s formations and injuries to the usual lightweights. I hope we keep him and that whoever is brought in around him allows him a bit more freedom.

Hailed as ‘outstanding’ by James Collins in the past, the young attacking midfielder ranks as the Seasiders’ sixth-best player this season

Well that's a sad indictment of our current squad!
