Careful.Doesn't have to be fast, he's s big lad, but getting into the penalty area on the same day that the cross was delivered would be an improvement on the last big centre forward!

Assume you had some realy good fish dishes at the Ship Inn at ElieGood afternoon, just back from a lovely walk along the east coast of Scotland on my hols in Elie. Makes a change to walking the pooches at St Ann's (which is lovely too).
Cosgrove was signed by Birmingham from Aberdeen for £2M , he was then loaned out to Wimbledon where apparently he was an utter donkey.
Argyle signed him on loan & we were pleasantly surprised how good he was. Schumacher mainly used him if plan A was going pear shaped (i.e. when Hardie & Ennis two small nippy strikers weren't hitting it off). This resulted in Argyle turning round a number of games in their favour. Cosgrove scored two at Derby when Argyle were two nil down resulting in an ultimate win & a cracking header against The Massive to turn the game round. He was very much a part of Argyle's Championship winning season.
For a big guy he's got surprisingly good ball control & is good for holding the ball up front & is great for defending set pieces.
He'd be a great addition to your squad but I wouldn't rely on him being your sole striker to depend on. Schumacher managed to get the best out of him , I reckon Critchley could do the same.
One negative ; he committed a horror tackle on a Bolton player in the Pizza final, how he only got a yellow God only knows but that was out of character ( probably due to frustration on Argyle being totally outplayed) but I suppose a horror tackle on a Bolton player would go down well up here ....back to my hols...
Wages of new signings restricted to below £1400 pw for 3 windows.Andy Carroll plays for them, so I suspect they could. But as said above it is Jack Strawn who they are interested in.
Not been there, I'll give it a go on your recommendation Off to the Pier Fish restaurant at St Monans todayAssume you had some realy good fish dishes at the Ship Inn at Elie
. Wind it in you fruit loopClub happy for someone to take him for free - is on big wages for L1
Gaz goals on one leg. Hopping about. Lovely stuff. We need someone like him but I bet it will be a player no one has even mentioned.
I thought, if you were gonna get taken on as a striker at our place, being injury-prone was virtually a prerequisite ...He seems perfect for us, fast, big, and can score in league one, plus he doesn't seem injury prone.
Happy with that. Looks another solid anddition and hopefully keeps some money behind to get a wow signing!Gazette and reporting that we're now favourites to get him on loan for the season. View attachment 16224
Well that’s bound to put the kiss of death on it.Gazette said that its a season long loan with a view to sign him free next summer when his contract runs out. Let's hope it comes off.
Gazette putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5Where have the gazette got this extended bit of info on us winning the race? Nixon not updated since yesterday morning
STFU - if he leaves it’s on a free - do you have idea of his wages ??? No you definitely don’t. Wind it in you fruit loop
The gazette are quoting Nixon as the source. Will not believe till I see it on the o/s.Where have the gazette got this extended bit of info on us winning the race? Nixon not updated since yesterday morning
Gazette reporting it? Probably won't happen thenGazette and reporting that we're now favourites to get him on loan for the season. View attachment 16224
More like the poster Blackpool FC being a cock again !Gazette reporting it? Probably won't happen then
And how's Norburn getting on at Bolton, gutted we didn't get him!As your here, can you tell me what happened to the signing of Banks please
Interesting how that seems to be the case this season - my money is on two decent loans coming in before the end of the month. It's the way we've done business since Sadler came in and can't see it being any different this season. We need someone like him but I bet it will be a player no one has even mentioned.
Many of those 33 appearance for Plymouth were coming on as sub. In terms of minutes on the pitch he played less than 14 full league games for them, which equates to 26 goals over a full season. Not a bad signing if we do. A fair few clubs after him it seems.
I would say he done well at Aberdeen, SPL is definitely on a par with league 1 despite some comments and also Plymouth last year 33 apps 8 goals. Probs would have been better if he had more but certainly a good option to have.
