Could the virus just disappear?

I'm hopeful it will just disappear and I'm convinced that more people are resistant to the effects that any of the antibody studies are suggesting.... 👍
 
I posted something regarding this a couple of weeks ago. In most cases strains of Coronavirus die out after 6-8 weeks. This seems to last longer and is feeding off the population in general. It could die out completely in a couple of months.
 
Whether it does or does not may depend on the weather, we get out more in the summer less chance of infection outside than inside, perhaps as the weather warms up it may die down and reappear in the fall, after all it was determined as being a virus originating in a cold climate.

I wouldn't trust a word that guy says. An oncologist who royally screwed up the Lockerbie bomber case and is mired in other controversies. He loves the attention. Want a bit of optimism if you buy a lottery ticket you may win, hang around Buckingham palace you may get off with Kate Middleton, turn up at Barca training ground you may get into the 1st team. There you go anything's possible, be optimistic. And if you read down his thread other doctors are rightly calling him out.
 
I have a theory.
There will be a second wave, this will not be reported by nations governments because as we know the global economy comes first. People will continue to die and Covid 19 will become part of our every day lives.
I have absolutely no evidence of this, these are just the musing of an oldish bloke.
 
Found this on twitter and read the extract of the paper he was referencing. It had not been reviewed, and was a theoretical paper, no data. The gist was that if the susceptible people got it and developed immunity or died, as time goes on there were less susceptible people to get it. Sounds like stating the bleedin obvious to me, but does not mean the virus gets less dangerous, just that there are fewer susceptible people to die off.
 
The whole point of the scale of this virus story is to shepherd in things like mandatory vaccines, resetting the economy, removal of rights and freedoms, mass surveillance and so on.

Dr Bill ‘God’ Gates has already instructed us that we can’t have our lives back until we have all had his jabs and he openly refers to this as “pandemic 1”, rather than just the pandemic. So no, it won’t be allowed to peter out.

So now its okay to dismiss experts views? You know its almost like some people are quite enjoying all of this and want to keep pushing the scaremongering.

As for this professors theories not being reviewed the same could be said of the theory of Neil Ferguson who's theory was never reviewed or published as a scientific paper yet has been the basis for every measure this government has taken through this pandemic.

Ormergod, it wasn't his theory or paper, he was quoting it. You are right, he is an expert. In Oncology, not Virology or Epidemiology

I'd rather stick with the real experts who flank Ministers every day, despite the fact that I think the Government will throw them all under the bus when it suits.
 
TBF, I don't think he's claiming to be an expert, nor should his opinion be taken as such. It's an observation and I'm sure the same thought has crossed many people's minds. It's not exactly the wildest of claims is it really.
 
I wish it would disappear, I suppose I should be happy not to have expired (yet) but I'm fed up with the constraints, along with most of the population I expect. I really HATE staying in. Live music, long walks with a lunch thrown in, camping here & there, meals out, pub, football matches. Might as well be dead if I couldn't do most of them. Let's hope normality comes before too long.

I’ve tried it both ways and back to front but it’s totally ineffective at protecting you from what gets injected in to your bloodstream.

There’d be a very good chance of it petering out if nature was taking its course, I think. Or of some drug working, some herbal or other natural remedy, natural immunity, no vaccine being developed as they have never managed one for a Coronavirus before...they won’t happen though, mandatory vaccines is the pre determined plan so get ready for phase 2.
