Still find it strange that we beat them 2-1 at their place, they have ground struggles, lost their Football Directors to us and yet still finished in the play offs!
 
I distinctly remember thinking ‘we’ll be fine this season’ after the Coventry game, back to back wins and Jerry was on fire!

Injuries ultimately killed our season, I reckon Appleton would have kept us up if we didn’t lose so many key players over the course of his tenure.
 
They gave most of our squad the large that day and on top of all the injuries we had it decimated us completely for a few games just when we were getting some momentum, I would say that was the time when it really went wrong and we never recovered.

Completely agree if so. They had some sort of bug, and it seemed like we caught it even worse because our shite run started pretty soon after that game.
 
It was a nervy game with little incident neither team really went for it. Boro will be more satisfied than Cov with the result.
