I'm not sure whether the moderators will allow some of the verbatim testimony. May need to use lots of ***********

The previous "witness" referred to effectively old people being dispensible.

That'll be good for the grey vote at the next General Election.

All Lying Bastard seemed to be interested in was appeasing his right wingers and the Daily Telegraph

I thought the idea of this Enquiry was to learn lessons to cope with a future pandemics but it looks like they are all scrambling to blame each other. Most people wouldn’t like to work with someone like Cummings, he was challenged on his rule breaking trip to the north east and Barnard Castle and had great trouble to justify it.

Hancock refusing to appear unless given immunity from prosecution.

Something to hide?

Whichever way you look at it, it was a complete shambles from the top down, and when people say they might give them another chance, just look at the transcripts of today, where everyone said the man on charge was totally unsuitable and was happy to write off the old.

Watching him squirm when asked why he went to test his eyes by driving to Barnard Castle with his wife and 4 year old child in the car was tv gold, and the KC struggled to surpress his smiles!

Whilst Cummings is a loathsome individual and obviously extremely difficult to work with it appears that he had grasped the challenges posed by COVID and was trying to take the appropriate actions.

Cummings was also partly responsible for the fact that we had an incompetent and ineffectual PM and cabinet. The response when asked did he regret leading Johnson's campaign, when he knew Johnson was totally unsuitable to be PM, was risible.

Some of the old, me included, wrote him off a while ago.
