Crap football for 18 months

The Dawn of a New Era does look like its stalled somewhat, the lights doesn't seem as bright at the end of the tunnel.
It's the lack of details that don't make sense. Surely if you're going to spend that amount of money on two big building projects, you would have detailed plans in place? And if so, why wouldn't you share at least part of those plans with the fans to create a bit of a buzz?

The last official thing I remember reading from the club re the training ground was that costs had gone up, so the project had to be re-evaluated.

The only official thing I've seen re the East stand is some generic artists impressions and that it's reliant on outside investment, just like the 3 stands built under the Oyston era were.

There's been no specific details released about either project, let alone any sign of any building work taking place.

We are nearly half a decade in to Sadler's custodianship, is it any wonder fans are a bit sceptical? It's all stuff we've heard before, many times over the decades, as Blackpool fans.
You make a very good point about being sceptical as Blackpool fans but things are different to how they were before. Just look at the pitch and the current training facilities, night and day to how they used to be. Large infrastructure projects take time but the evidence suggests they are ongoing.

Go on then give us some positivity, because at the moment there is absolutely nothing positive coming out of that club.

And another note that Natalie the ex cod head trying to ban even more fans horrible bint.

But as the saying goes crap rolls down hill.
Nice profile pic.

Do you not go to matches because you are banned or are you boycotting?

Don’t you worry son - you’re a ticking time bomb with that username. Will soon have your IP address with a lot of explaining to do to a lot of people 😎
I'm not sure that this board needs people coming on here threatening other posters.

I don't think you can give specific detail as no PP is there, so the actual nuts and bolts will be down to negotiations with Wyre and Blackpool. You can't give reasons for knocking it back- I suppose the detail has to evolve. Probably the same with the East where if it was me I'd be seeing if I could get Blackpool council and regen funds to pay for as much as possible.

I think both projects will go ahead, but the TG on a much smaller scale than first anticipated.

I'd just love it if SS wasn't a 'one man band' with regards to the financial side.

We've seen the TG plans.

It is with wyre but as it borders Blackpool they have it too.

The east stand itself we haven't seen but we did see a general picture of the 'masterplan' for the area, pitches etc, which may be subject to change.

Another new low for you ItsDim.
Nice of you to join us, Mr. Sadler.

Shouldn’t you be writing emails to the council trying to rekindle your friendship with them so that fans don’t question you training ground plans, again? Last thing you need to do is write another statement telling fans off for questioning you, again.

Artist impressions and nothing on what a "scaled-back" training ground will look like, just like I said.

Hopefully this will be the year when work will start on both 🤞

@Keglersuper Can you advise how the club have fallen out with the council over the east? Am genuinely interested if this is the case and where you got that from, we'd all be interested to know.

If there's some information people are missing it would help if we had it, it might then change opinions.
First you say your interested, then say we which is it?

Well that's not what you said.

I've just shown the detailed plans for the TG, all the documents available under that link.

Whether the club decide to build in stages maybe is obviously unknown right now, but you surely wouldn't scale the plans back if you will build in stages, you let it go through. It may not be decided yet.

As for the East yes that is all we currently have and detailed plans are still to go in I believe. But the TG ones were behind schedule when they eventually went in I think, maybe similar here. Mansford going may have slowed things down as Winter(?) gets to grips with everything.

I'd like to see them too, well just some east mock ups would do, so surely they'll be a planning application in fairly soon given the council are acquiring the houses. Maybe the @SLO_BFC can find out? Surely doesn't need a whole meeting to find out the answer to a simple question?

Herts replied to me not long ago that 'nobody is really questioning SS and his commitment' yet keglespur-the-dim-witted and Grim, both without any facts or indeed reality to back up their claims, continue to believe that we are entering the next dawn of the Oyston-esq decline of BFC.

You really couldn't make it up. Lads, take your heads out of your arses. SS has made huge strides off the pitch to get us up to scratch and continues to do so. What broken promises ffs?

Take no notice pal just the Muckers stirring the shit again putting noses out of joint because Sadler won't lick their backsides.

Broken promises from an owner that seems to me to be full of crap, new training ground gone tits, fallen out with the council over the east stand. Starting to think Sadler is a dreamer, clearly has the money but not investing it in the team, the football is shite In fact it’s not even that good, no way in this world is he going to invest in January, he didn’t really at the beginning of the season, anyway rant over #sadlerout
If things are as bad as you make out then why don’t you just fcuk off
