We showed at Bromley what we can do when we take a game to a team but this season's 1 win in 8 games is utterly abysmal and in those 8 games we've scored 7 goals.

He needs to be braver, it really is that simple. At times it feels like we play with the handbrake on. Some footballers can thrive with lots of technical information, whereas others need a little more freedom to express themselves. We are now chasing the pack, time to let the players have a go without being held back.

He threw away a two goal victory at The Valley a few weeks back with his ultra cautious / negative tactics and just doesn't seem to learn from them.

Yesterday was fine, the players gave it a good shot we just don't have enough quality. Although some poor performances absolutely ignored yesterday. CJ/Rhodes/Husband were all awful yet I didn't see much on here about them? Just people having a pop at Grimshaw and Thompson.

I do wonder if Lavery had been fit if Rhodes would have been benched? Can't help feeling the manager's hand was forced a bit there?

Would have been good to see Lavery snapping at Santos' heels, as I don't think the Horwich captain is quite as good as he himself thinks he is.
