Harsh, there's maybe 3 managers I'd sit and listen to in the past fifty years and one of those was Holloway.Critchley ('Critch' to his worshipers) doesn't present at all well at interview. He's the archetypal Grey man.

Apart from him name another Blackpool manager from the past 30 years you could be arsed tuning in to?
29 1/2 years thenBilly Ayre, absolutely loved listening to him until 94.

Totally agree @Tanger - so you're denied a perfectly good goal at a tin pot ground and yet would be given at a VAR ground.VAR is shit he's correct. Also how can you have two sets of rules for teams in the same round of a competition? One var and one not. All should be the same. If you have to play with var do it for the semis for all the games.
Poor comment clearly from a “hater”….I actually think he interviews well and thinks about what he wants to say even if some people don't agree with his comments but the one about VAR used in FA cup ties when only one side has the experience and is not also able to be used in other ties is spot on.Critchley ('Critch' to his worshipers) doesn't present at all well at interview. Hmmm - I'm not entirely sure of that final point. I mean, take this season, for example. Because, if I'm being absolutely honest, I've found some of his tactical decisions, during the course of the current campaign, at times, to be absolutely hilarious ...There is absolutely nothing wrong with how he interviews granted he’s not cracking jokes like Holloway but he’s not paid to be a comedian.
I would put his lack of in-game management closer to a loose bowel movementHmmm - I'm not entirely sure of that final point. I mean, take this season, for example. I left school in 1968…to go to University in Liverpool so not a schoolboy( and in the world as it is now glad I am not).!
The first Critchley loving fish on the hook!
I don't 'hate' anyone, especially our manager. I do think referring to a man you don't actually know, by a nickname that he probably doesn't ever use, is creepy, we're not schoolboys!
So referring to me as his 'hater' is a poor choice of words on your part.
You have your views on his management style & interview skills & and I'll have mine. If they differ, then don't cry about it.

Whatever qualities BA may have had, he was hardly the most articulate of chaps.Billy Ayre, absolutely loved listening to him until 94.

You didn’t have to face constant media attention in those days but BA was special but of course we all know who knew betterWhatever qualities BA may have had, he was hardly the most articulate of chaps.

Although, curiously, and on a related theme, I've heard it rumoured, as a club, we have what might be termed a lunatic fringe of fans who profess to being big supporters of La Critches tactical approach to games, and these 'loonies' have even gone as far to say they are 'boweled' by the ethos it appears he presently holds on to.I would put his lack of in-game management closer to a loose bowel movement
I'm just hoping the experience of being shunned by fellow fans isn't depriving you of the opportunity of sampling the delights you are being served up by La Critch and his merry band of 2-5-3 men ...I left school in 1968…to go to University in Liverpool so not a schoolboy( and in the world as it is now glad I am not).
You on the face of it don’t like our current manager which you are perfectly entitled to believe.
However I am prepared on what he has previously achieved here to trust him to move The club forward.…..and tomorrow doesn’t define our season win.lose or draw.

Did you ever call them Olly or Larry?
Certainly I did just as I call this one Critch
I respect your & anyone elses right to call him what you wish, but when I see him in my local village, I call him Neil.Did you ever call them Olly or Larry?

Well yes, in real life I imagine I would call him Neil unless I knew him personally?I respect your & anyone elses right to call him what you wish, but when I see him in my local village, I call him Neil.
Billy had been a school teacher prior to signing professional. So I’d have thought he’d be at least ok as a speaker.Whatever qualities BA may have had, he was hardly the most articulate of chaps.
He was a PE teacher, not required to be the most articulate and doesn't relate to media interviews.Billy had been a school teacher prior to signing professional. So I’d have thought he’d be at least ok as a speaker.
Instead of you insulting a fellow Seasider, let's congratulate the team & coaches on a well earned, well deserved result. And you're a sad individual who can't communicate or debate without swearing & insulting.
You're also a childish coward who sends abuse from behind his keyboard.
It's the likes of you, who deters good people & fellow supporters from posting on this site.
What people have to realise is that the interviews are basically a platform for the manager, or whoever to peddle whatever they want to. There is no 'swearing in' and the truth and the whole truth. They all could be written by any one of us in advance, such is the predictability and repetitive nature of them. There is absolutely nothing wrong with how he interviews granted he’s not cracking jokes like Holloway but he’s not paid to be a comedian.
Does that make you Greyist?Critchley ('Critch' to his worshipers) doesn't present at all well at interview. He's the archetypal Grey man.
