What if we play like we did against Charlton and Portsmouth?...IF...and if we play like we did against Crewe and Wimbledon we won't win them.

We may or may not do, but we didn't in these 2 home games. We don't score enough goals to win enough games to trouble the play offs. The players look lethargic and there's a serious lack of quality throughout the team / squad. What if we play like we did against Charlton and Portsmouth?
...and you enjoy being a numpty. You’re utterly clueless about football if you’re Critchley out, stick to football manager you bunch of muppets
Simp...and you enjoy being a numpty.
Another numpty.Thank gawd I blocked 62 some time back.
What some on here don't seem to comprehend is that you can be critical of the manager without wanting him sacked.
What is the title of this thread......?
I agree with most of your post but I dont think there is a heated argument at the moment and this is NOT the time to be getting rid...he does need to improve things though...I dont believe we will get up this year because we wont win the games in hand but with a couple of key players in then we have the squad to challenge for the title next seasonThis conversation is starting to gwt very heated again amongst our supporters. Therefore what is your opinion and why.
Im going to say that im very torn tbh, there some positive things such as some players are developing but then there are alo negatives such as i believe that Critchiley doesnt seem to know how to chang ethe formation in play, if a team were playing is getting the better of us he doesnt seem to know how to counter act it and change the formation to give us the upper hand. I strongly believe we have one of the strongest squads in this division and tbh should be pushing for the top 2 not sat in 12/13 position.
Not at all, I was merely pointing out the fact that this thread is titled whether he should be fired or not, and that you were saying posters should differentiate between criticism and wanting him sacked.I know what the title of the thread is, hence me discussing him being sacked and giving my opinion.
Are you okay? You seem very confrontational tonight in multiple threads?

I wasn't even pointing the finger at you
And I'm absolutely fine; I'm just sick of the incessant negativity (not you) from some quarters, so sometimes I bite back. Are you okay? You seem very confrontational tonight in multiple threads?
He will need to recruit better than in the past.I agree with most of your post but I dont think there is a heated argument at the moment and this is NOT the time to be getting rid...he does need to improve things though...I dont believe we will get up this year because we wont win the games in hand but with a couple of key players in then we have the squad to challenge for the title next season
You can sack Critchiley but Critchley has to stay. This conversation is starting to gwt very heated again amongst our supporters. Therefore what is your opinion and why.

I dont think he is the only one looking at players and tbh I think the more recent recruits have been very good...Stewart Dougall Gretarson and Garbutt are all good...I think we have one of the best squads in the division and the early signings of CJ, Keshi, Marv, Ballard ,Gabriel and even Mitchell are all decent at this level. He will need to recruit better than in the past.
Ballard, Gabriel and Simms won't be here next season. Stewart and Dougall started off ok but their form has dipped. A number of first teamers are out of contract e.g. Madine, Turton, Husband and Garbutt. I suspect he will need to bring in 6 to 8 players...the merry go round will continue!I dont think he is the only one looking at players and tbh I think the more recent recruits have been very good...Stewart Dougall Gretarson and Garbutt are all good...I think we have one of the best squads in the division and the early signings of CJ, Keshi, Marv, Ballard ,Gabriel and even Mitchell are all decent at this level.
Come on now, that's silly.Eh? You want to go back to “attacking, progressive, on the front foot, playing in their half, dominating football”. Which was “abandoned when results went wrong”. But “we need to get back to that style of football and fast”.
Well based on your own post you want to lose more games?
The above is the most accurate assessment.I've been unimpressed with the lack of style if play implementated.
As showing in my thread we were promised attacking, progressive, on the front foot, playing in their half, dominating football. That was the goal. Early season we did but abandoned it when results went wrong.
So I'm not for getting rid but we need to get back that that style for me and fast.
We've been so poor on the ball the blame has to lay at the top. Must improve.
I've heard that you do!Is it an age thing?
It seems that the out demographic is older than the in demographic.
Do you become less tolerant as you get older?
i dont think you can ask me that question because all i have done is pick up upon what people are saying and put it into one forum. Ive very torn about what i think about Critchiley because he doesnt seem to learn from mistakes.Fred, you seem to be making a habit of asking the same questions, have you cornered the market in let's say something, anything, just for the sake of it?
No just more desperate for attention .Is it an age thing?
It seems that the out demographic is older than the in demographic.
Do you become less tolerant as you get older?
So you don't judge a manager on a whole season, just the middle of it?You won't find any fans of any other club wanting the manager out when the team has picked up 41 points in the last 22 games. Almost two points per game.
You just won't.
you clearly havent read the reason for my post you dick. After the game i saw posts on here calling for his head and because im currently working on something it was a bit of research that im conducting. Me personally think Critchiley should stay, yes his mistakes are costing us but hes learning, do i think we will mak the playoffs? no i dont.Imbecilic OP.
Why does it matter what Premier league clubs think of him, they don't care about our results its just work experience for their kidsPremier League clubs have a higher regard of his coaching abilities and tactics than some of our fans. (Read Ballard article)
He’s a UEFA elite level coach who has overseen the development of players like Trent Arnold.
In his first season as a manager he’s had to work under Covid conditions and significant injuries to his key players, plus a total squad overhaul.
The squad is gelling bit by bit and has been one of the form teams in 2021 inc now having 1 defeat in 8 games and destroying Charlton in their own ground 3-0
Statistics show that continual swapping of managers does not work and is financially
So you are throwing abuse about yet I'm the one in the wrong? One week you call for him to be fired, the next all is great. The following week it's time to fire him again because we don't win. We aren't even losing games, you're saying he should be fired because we've drawn.
It's utterly tiresome and embarrassing.
So you don't rate him, does that mean he should be fired?
Go check out the results during the promotion season under Billy Ayre, we struggled then too at certain points..... how would we have faired if we had had the chief bed wetters spitting their dummies out because we dropped points?
It's pathetic, and laughable.
Good post but I would argue we are still 5-6 players short of an automatic promotion squad...you need cover and some of our players are not good enough for a side with promotion aspirationsIt’s another silly O’P, yesterday’s reaction was just that, disappointment, we wouldn’t be normal if we didn’t feel disappointed, frustrated and even angry after letting in an equaliser with one minute of extra time remaining and the overall poor performance and negative tactics.
However, Tuesdays game was a cracking game of football and yesterday’s wasn’t. I would expect us to try and hold out for the last few minutes, but not for the last half an hour, that was such a negative tactic and to a change to it and then say the players should have attacked more is naive who were the outlets when Kaikai and Yates were too busy defending.
Fount’s is right, we lack creativity in the middle of the parka d it has cost us scoring more goals all season, we are 3 players short of a dominant side.
BUT, we can’t expect to win every game, yesterday was poor and we move on. I expect a reaction on Tuesday night but it is a tough game. We are still on a decent run and there is still a good chance we can reach the play offs.
I think these calls for Critchley to be sacked are ludicrous and the same few try to whip up a frenzy to try and get others to follow.
It was a shit performance, tactics were wrong and we are right to feel pissed off after a game like that, but to call for the manager’s head is ridiculous.
Well many on here judged him on seven games, so I think i'm being generous. So you don't judge a manager on a whole season, just the middle of it?
