When NC was here last, there was towards the end of season, many rumours of him falling out with players. In one of his comeback videos he references some players will be excited he is back, others won’t be. I am just wondering of the players still under contract, who will be excited by his return, and who will not?
 
Jerry called him a tactical genius and Madine said he took a pay cut because of his “belief in the gaffer”.

Maxwell said after one season, he’d been “taught how to play football the wrong way all his life.”

I imagine the players that won’t be happy will be the ones he didn’t select.

There was also a rumour that he left because Sadler wouldn't play ball with a budget last summer .. he soon put that to bed on his return.
Rumours on here are like Phillip Schofield in a playground .. not to be trusted!

Mansford also said that season 22/23s budget was bigger than the one before, what happened there?
