Not seen anything about it and surprised it hasn't been mentioned (apologies if it has).
Was amazing and great to see Critchley going berserk at times yesterday screaming and shouting. One point looked like he was giving one of the players a right verbal lashing.
He obviously isn't one of them type of managers but must have been aware of all the supporters criticism and was desperate for that display and result.
 
wasnt there yesterday but it might be the thing that gets results then so be it. week tue is my next home game. derby at home. we owe them a tanking they will bring a few over so should be a good atmosphere .

It started properly once we were 3 up. We'd been pressing so well to create that situation, and it's stating the obvious to say he wanted to get in without conceding.
So yes great to see him asking for more tempo and directing operations.
Even then Grimmy still had to make a good one just before the break. For all our domination, a very important stop.
 
The fact he was so agitated even when we were 4 up was good to see.

When Carey ran into difficulties with no one to pass it to he went ballistic .

Said exactly the same to my mates about that last minute in the first half. The first time they had started that tippy tapy passing around at the back and it nearly cost us.
Even at 3-0 up and coasting had we conceded in the last minute might have had disastrous consequences.

I saw that as well.Thought he was going to combust at one point.
 
what if you where SHEFFIELD UTD and you get done EIGHT nil by Newcastle . what does a manager do then. heckinnbotham has a right job on there . send in SEAN bean.

Yeah I saw that. Carey basically just kept going with ball and eventually just ran it out of play. He got pelters from those around me but no one was showing for the ball so he had no options.
 
He actually came over to applaud the fans in the south as well. Not seen him do that before. Its usually only the norththat gets recognised.
