So what do we think?
SACK HIM!
Then when the next guy doesn't take the league by storm playing fantasy football with THE BIGGEST BUDGET IN THE LEAGUE (c) sack them as well as we should be beating the likes of everyone in this league.
Very happy with the first 2 wordsSACK HIM!
Then when the next guy doesn't take the league by storm playing fantasy football with THE BIGGEST BUDGET IN THE LEAGUE (c) sack them as well as we should be beating the likes of everyone in this league.
He is not learning from HIS mistakes(never once owned a shit performance this season) apart from throwing the players under the bus early on in the season. We can still do it, but it's more difficult and requires a great run.
We will be better next season. Look at 2024 and we've improved in many ways, ridding some of that pain from last season and healing the wounds, although not completely gone or mentality completely shifted yet, but much better.
We can't keep getting rid of managers, otherwise we'll never begin to show any consistency, as it required a stable environment when getting in players they want and to suit that, then time to implement that. Changing restarts that process somewhat.
Gary Bowyer would be worth a look at as well as whoever else might be interestedSack and him and put Dobbie in charge to show ambition
Ah at last you’re beginning to see the wood for the trees Lytham.SACK HIM!
Then when the next guy doesn't take the league by storm playing fantasy football with THE BIGGEST BUDGET IN THE LEAGUE (c) sack them as well as we should be beating the likes of everyone in this league.
The squad is getting better and we are improving, yesterday was a poor nothing game and decided by a poor deflection. He is not learning from HIS mistakes(never once owned a shit performance this season) apart from throwing the players under the bus early on in the season.
Now it's any other reason bar his team selection or tactics/subs/timing.....
So what's going to be different that he can't/won't see this season JJ?
Who would you suggest to replace Critchley?Should be another option
We are stuck with him as I have no faith in our owner getting anybody better in
gary bowyer would be my first choice as well. like hearing on co commentary and pre match.Gary Bowyer would be worth a look at as well as whoever else might be interested
I wouldn't suggest anybody, it's a ridiculous question as I've stated several timesWho would you suggest to replace Critchley?
You have a lot of opinions and know a bit about football so I thought that you may have some suggestions.I wouldn't suggest anybody, it's a ridiculous question as I've stated several times
We as fans don't know who's available or who wants the job
We also aren't party to what goes on during the interview process and we don't know what the chairman wants or what budget any new manager expects to what the clubs objectives are
But how can you judge whether or not 2024 is much improved? We were in league one when he arrived and will be in league one next season, how is that an improvement? We were told, pre season, we had a top 6 budget. Surely it follows that if we don’t finish sixth the season has been a failure. I’m not advocating getting rid, I didn’t want him in the first place and that’s what I voted. But I honestly can’t see any improvement next season. To put things right you have to concede that some things are wrong. Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be in Critchley’s dna.The squad is getting better and we are improving, yesterday was a poor nothing game and decided by a poor deflection.
Tbh if he fails this season and they decide he's not the man and went someone else so be it.
But I'm just stating that clubs don't really get much success by keeping changing managers, because when a new man comes in, almost all the players we have were brought in by NC to fit a style.
Some can adapt but you again have to rebuild and rebuild the philosophy.
It may work or it may not.
Obviously it's better to have the right manager to take us forward but who's to say the next one would be?
Then if they fail then what? Could soon become a basket case.
For me he's obviously got the season as its far from over yet, but becoming harder.
If we're honest it would always take a bit of time to overcome the shitshow of last season. So let's see how we finish.
If 2024 on the whole is much improved then you'd have to say it's the early season that cost us and looking to the future, it's more likely for success carrying on with that improvement.
Whereas you would put forward……..????The more I read this forum......The more I want an IQ test before anybody is allowed to post
OK, we would lose 30% of the long term posters and probably 100% of the undercover Knobbers.......
But think how much good we will be doing by getting these OAP's out into the community.
They wont be sitting at home watching Homes Under The Hammer and making this kind of shit up.....
I mean Garry Bowyer.........You have got to be on a wind up.....if not........Stop it and get some help!!!!
Pretty easily. But how can you judge whether or not 2024 is much improved? We were in league one when he arrived and will be in league one next season, how is that an improvement? We were told, pre season, we had a top 6 budget. Surely it follows that if we don’t finish sixth the season has been a failure. A lot of hope in there, I hope you’re right. I am looking forward more in hope than expectation. As I said Critchley appears to think everything in the garden is rosy.Pretty easily.
If we're looking better than early season and winning more games, points per game, we can make a comparison to the early season, where the squad was coming together and also we were adjusting after a terrible season before it.
Of course it would be disappointing not to finish in the top 6 and underperform slightly, mainly away, given the budget.
But as said if we look to have improved away in 2024 and maintain a good home run, we'll have shown clear progression amd you'd hope then going into a new season with far less adjustment, players having played together etc, no bad relegation to recover from, that we can hit the ground running far better.
Why do you only post these polls when we lose? Last time you said you wanted to gauge the feeling of the fanbase but it's clear you only want to do this when that feeling is more likely to match your own personal perspective. So what do we think?
We already have a manager......and I would give him the time he needed to build a team to get promotion (just like Evatt has at Bolton)Whereas you would put forward……..????
Well nobody would want a "winning" coach to leave would they? What a daft thing to say.Why do you only post these polls when we lose? Last time you said you wanted to gauge the feeling of the fanbase but it's clear you only want to do this when that feeling is more likely to match your own personal perspective.
Well you've been on the manager's back all season and seem to get excited at the prospect of others doing the same, hence why you post one of these polls after every single defeat.Well nobody would want a "winning" coach to leave would they? What a daft thing to say.
We know you like to lash out at people with different views and perspectives than your own.
I think a poll is an interesting snippet of what people think without having to read hundreds of posts. I posted it after a loss as many posters seemed to be expressing great annoyance at the manager. As you can see, the poll doesn't reflect that so again I don't know what you are getting at??
