As many of us have said repeatedly, it was another shocking appointment. Incompetence by all concerned. No point voting, because the relationship is too cozy. Sadler may have well set fire to his cash and he’s got more to lose next season, as fans don’t renew.
 
Too right, that was the last straw for me.

We’ve seen a string of shite away performances throughout the season.

Home form has saved Critch his job for a while but it seems clear he’s lost the dressing room.

The fanbase is broken. We’re in danger of dropping down the table like a stone with the upcoming fixtures.

Time for a change.

I've been calling for calm and because it's been a mixed season felt he should have more time. But after that tonight he should go. Not because of our points tally/league position, but because his in-game tactics are a disgrace. How he watched that first half and didn't change formation all game and subs 70 mins (as per usual) is absolutely mind-boggling. The formation hasn't worked away from home and he continues to flog it which is unforgivable.
 
This stinks of how he lost the dressing room before the end of the season in the championship. The players are half arsed and don't seem at all interested or capable of changing this from here. Where are the goals coming from?

Another Manager to be sacked, another load of money wasted…. He has to go, but he won’t. If he’s here come start of next season, we’re back to sub 5k gates. Something stinks at the club

Edit to add - about time SS got involved, grew a set, sat Critch down and ask him if his hearts in this. Because his body language on the sideline looks very similar to another shit manager we had!

Probably not just yet. But it’s not far off that point.

I suppose the bigger question is, does anyone trust Sadler to get the next appointment right?
 
Look at what Darrell Clarke got that team of Cheltenham players playing like tonight. Could be doing that with us.

Thought it was a mistake to bring him back, he showed promise in his frist stint and i was a big supporter even when we weent doing so well, but to me, leaving for villa exposed that he has no strategic brain. I think that is showing now, poor planning and poor decsion making is just screaming from the team.

i think he may have already peaked as a manager with our promotion and then staying up. There is no way you can talk about wanting to play possession football when the players are hoofing it 60 yards up the pitch, either the players are sh**, but i dont think they are, we are incredibly unlucky, which we might be or critchley just cannot organise and get the squad playing, to their abilities.

A decent coach should be able to look at a group of players and understand what their individual and collective strengths are, and get a team playing to those strengths.
 
He isn't gonna sack him. Critchley needs a good shake to wake him up. This isn't rocket science. Change the damn formation and just go for it.
 
it needed a new approach and a fresh manager carrying no baggage. This was obvious as soon as we potted Crappleton.

I’d sack him now. Sadler won’t though.

Said probably nearly a year ago that when it comes to hiring a new manager that SS should be kidnapped and nowhere near the process.

He has a 100% record of incompetence.
