Critchley's a snake

The Pool fans who slag off Critchley can do it as much as they want, but let’s face it he was the bees knees with most, until his unexpected and badly managed walkout.
He brought us Championship football within 2 years and built a side that survived last season in a very competitive league on a limited budget compared to other clubs.
However, I’m pleased we’ve moved on with Appleton who will put together a squad that will play a different style of football that will help us survive a 2nd season and create a stepping stone to achieving greater things.
I feared the worst this coming season with Critchley still in charge, as other teams were beginning to suss us out and I think we could well have been in a relegation battle.
🤞

Exactly…he was a snake but one of those middling sized constrictors of small mammals. He ain’t no viper
