Crowd on Saturday if favourable results on Tuesday?

Last home game….ok barring a miracle….this season so be there….buying my ticket over the phone tomorrow irrespective of Tuesday night.
These days I get to fewer games but that is an age thing and nothing else.
Hate Ticketmaster so phone and collection on Saturday for me.

..and no more tickets for Barnsley either way.

Got to be 2k Barnsley & surely on the verge of 12k pool for the last home game & us more than likely getting into the playoffs……i hate it when you get waylaid posting then you realise your meds are still on the kitchen worktop
I’d be very interested to see how many we’d take to reading if all goes to plan, it’s a tricky one as in the event of that happening we pretty much know that Barnsley would win at home so our result would be irrelevant but that little piece of my brain that’s delusional & controlled by positivity re bfc would force me to go at great expense so I don’t miss something potentially amazing
The small part of my brain that’s normal would tell me I’m going to be travelling home pissed off, skint & on a train for hours, pissed wet through like derby & Carlisle

I think the reports of how dull this season has been will put off the floaters.
£25 or whatever it costs these days is still a chunk of money most would sooner spend on other things than to be put in to a comatose state.

Tuesday results will have some bearing. That said it's the last home game of the season, we've won the last 3 and for many the last chance to see Dembele in a tangerine shirt. With Barnsley selling out, I would hope we will be over 14,000.

No chance. Too much negativity around the place, even from those going to games

There is negativity but a few factors could still bump the crowd it up a little.

Depends if we're in with a shout and even then it's an outside chance.

Weather should be decent.

For 14k we’d either have to sell every single available ticket in the home stands, or send Barnsley another 2000 tickets

12,000-12,500 is more realistic

I wasn’t planning on going. However, if results go our way tonight and the season is still alive I’ll change my plans and buy a ticket.

Have the club done any promotional work to advertise the game, are they pro active chasing every potential customer, any discounts or incentives, any promotion in schools , competitions for free tickets???? I haven’t seen the game even mentioned anywhere other than on here…yet another example of the poor communication skills and the disconnect with potential customers/fans. Marketing and advertising is virtually non existent and Blackpool fc is weaker in the community than Fleetwood pke and even Fylde and that simply has to change.

The attendance for Fleetwood was 10,800. Barnsley are bringing 1400 more. So even if we have the same home numbers that would take us over 12,000. With it being a Saturday and the last home game, I would expect more, especially if we still had a sniff of making 6th place. Maybe 14,000 is a little ambitious but we should be close to 13,000.

I remember going with my son to watch us against Bristol City the last regular game when we thought we needed to win to get 6th place but in the end a draw was enough and the rest is history. An amazing atmosphere and I remember holding up white cards, others had tangerine ones making an amazing siight. Ollie certainly gave us “the best trip we have ever been on” sorry Critch but leave the stupid fist pumps to Kloppy

Things like that may happen a bit, although can improve, but ultimately you need a popular product to sell and to be in the mix.

If not then you're not wasting you're time a bit or at least not maximising you're efforts.

Oxford play twice before we play, Barnsley play pompey so could be all over or still wide open come Saturday morning. I will see how results go before deciding to drive up or not, tickets will be readily available

I’m one of the negative nellys and I’ll be there. Tutting, screaming “pass it forward!” and keeping a “FFS CJ” tally going

Not sure I can justify another round trip to Bloomfield this Saturday but I am seriously tempted.

a 500 mile round trip though and then if we won I’d obviously have to do reading away the following week to see us guarantee play offs if we were to.

What would you lot do in my position 😂

Tough one, if it were in our hands then I’d say make the trip but because it’s not then go to Reading if we beat Barnsley

I can't see Stevenage causing an upset on Friday. They have won one in their last six and have nothing to play for.

We can take it to the last game of the season though so that's enough for me to go on Saturday.

We have a small chance.

With it being televised may give Stevenage some motivation

What are we thinking? Will the vast majority of fans be up for attending this game now? Good weather, big game...

Shane it's not completely in our hands but still, better than nothing.

A, B & C now sold out. Just so hope by a miracle stevenage can win on fri.. that would be a huge result. Unlikely but didn't expect last night results
I think even a draw would do to be honest. A lot riding on our results but weirdly sooner be in our position than theirs - nothing to lose.
