Curved TVs and 3D TVs

Did any Mug actually buy one of these two nonsense inventions? Be honest lads

They were expensive too so if you did you’ve properly had your pants pulled down

Still got a 3D TV, it's hanging in one of the bedrooms, must be 10 years old now but still works fine, no idea where the glasses are mind, the normal picture is up there with the Ambilight in the living room from memory.

Currently using a very nice curved monitor for my non work PC, it's brilliant, miles better than the flat Dell work ones.

Speaking of having your pants pulled down, have you cancelled Sky yet?

I’ve got a Samsung 50 inch curved TV. Been a great servant and picked it up when they’d gone out of fashion so was cheap. Been a brill TV and still holds up today.

I have a Sony 3D tv now in our bedroom. Grandkids love watching the 3D films wearing the glasses.
Superb picture.
Bit of a waste of money to be honest but had it a number of years without any trouble.
Was great for watching the US Masters golf in 3D at the time

Nope, silly things that I didn't get and not surprised they hardly lasted.

3D was just awful. Sky trying to promote 3D football was hilarious.

Another one with a Samsung 50" curved who also bought it late once the price had come down. Excellent TV 👍. I'd only ever go for Sony or Samsung for TVs. Maybe LG or Panasonic at a push.

I got one and use it in the back room now.

3d was great fun.

The only sport where it worked well was the golf. By far the best use of it.

What was really nice, was getting some old VHS films of my mum, putting them into to DVD and playing them through the TV converted to 3d make it feel more real.

We have just bought a Ferguson full colour, teletext tv.
21" and it has a remote. £7 on ebay.

Mind you, it only has 4 channels, but we can get channel 5 on a clear day. Bargain.
