Cycle Park

I think it got raised st the end of July, after the charity ride, and Steve said he'd look into it.

With thousands milling around the security of it would need sorting properly, but I'd certainly use it if t was

About 10 days ago I noticed a couple of cycle racks outside the north stand, close to the building line.
They're only small racks, 3 bars IIRC.

Sorry to hijack the thread but 5his reminded me, also @SLO_BFC I mentioned ages ago but not sure what if anything came of it.

When the club shop was at the other end I'm sure we used to use these spaces.

Its a pain parking on the paint shop or if not possible all the way back just to pick something up quickly like tickets or whatever.

Would be really handy if these spaces were back to giving people 20 mins so they could at least wiz by and collect. At least there the wind and rain that always seems to come isn't as bad and there is cover, as walking towards the sea from Bloomfield road area can be a pain in the rain.

Not sure if this is feasible or if there's something considered to make a quick shop stop much more pleasant?

Probably go to match on me bike if there was may be a storage cupboard to lock it up in maybe next to the shop or somthing.. Also often considered taking me bike on away coaches and maybe a short tour home anyone done this or know if redline would put your bike in the hold.

Secure cycle parking would be a great asset.
The job would have to be done well though; undercover and no access to random passers by.
I don’t know if there are any storage areas under the stands, but that would be an ideal area.
Happy to pay a “parking charge” as well, if the facilities are secure.

I would'nt mind paying a minders fee ,also this will help the environment and peoples well being and hopefully we can get the community trust on board .

One of the houses across from the old No 1 club charged a small amount to let you put your bike in their front garden back in the late 60s-70s. I remember seeing it full of sit up & beg type bikes as a kid.
