Good job it wasn’t completely dark this morning at 6:15 as the dog needed to go out & as we were in the caravan I couldn’t just put him in the garden. didn’t think I’d meet anyone else but then what appeared to be aliens were approaching, 2 white lights about 5 foot off the ground & some green hoops moving randomly at a low level. I was quite relieved when 2 women jogged past with head torches & 2 dogs with green luminous hoops on.

Winter here is very long and very dark. Has a very particular feeling at this time of year. we’ve had our first snow, it lasted a week and now it’s melted and been around +11 degrees for a few days.
