Worth also noting the rule that UK citizens can only stay in the EU for 90 days in any 180 day period. May impact those with holiday homes in the EU. This is montored by border controls where UK citizens now get a date stamped into their passport when leaving and returning to the UK.

France, to see the friends where we used to live.
We (I) don't drive fast, overnight near Dover, overnight around le Mans, then another 300+ miles to The Dordogne.
