There's an interview online from 2013 where Kerslake was semi in charge of Cardiff prior to playing Liverpool. Malky Makay was on the verge of being sacked as manager and David Kerslake was sent out to face the press as Cardiffs number two. I found that interview very revealing as to his character and resolve under intense pressure from reporters wanting to know about the manager situation. He comes across as steady as a rock and you can see why MA would value having him as his wingman. In other interviews I've seen his knowledge of the technical side of the game is obvious. I think he's someone you wouldn't want to mess with, loyal to his manager, and should be a great asset to the club.
