DEADLINE DAY - SUMMER 2023

My 'mate' has just seen a Renault Captur 1.5Dci with the optional 'Sport' kit parked outside Bloomfield, obviously had some signage on it that had been removed but could make out an 'O' 'M' 'K' on there and he said there was a discarded hairband on the passenger seat.

No idea what this means...

Renault are French.

Captur translates to captured.

OMK could mean One More Kylian.

I think that confirms Mbappe is on his way! What a start to deadline day.
 
Critchley's expecting a busy day with permanent and loan deals on the agenda. Lavery out tomorrow but Dembele in the squad.

As soon as I saw that, I figured we would be linked. It seems every player Derby and Charlton want, we would also. He would be a decent signing, so that rules him out.

The have just signed Dane Scarlett on loan so hopefully opens up Ladapo for a move.

Whether that’s to us is doubtful but you live in hope.
 
Most likely incoming will be Charlie Kirk , loan with a view to a permanent , a LWB such as Declan John from Bolton , who is available , and a young striker on loan. Outgoings possibly Tharme to Accy Stan again, Apter to Crewe, Moffat to a Scottish team and Virtue. Don`t really expect too much to excite today , hopefully proven wrong by 11pm.
 
Think we all know today will prove if Simon wants pool straight back up in any signings pool might make, lots of negative comments on here , and it’s no surprise as past windows have been so bad , to the point got us relegated, this squad needs quality, not young players for future , surly we want back up , this season 🤷

other teams are spending the cash to try get promotion , not saying pool need to spend millions , but , spending say in the Carlisle lad would send a strong signal to us fans , surly he fits the bill , 25. Young , possibly sell him in 3/4 years , that’s what owner want, saleable assets 🤷

Agree, Rhodes is our only real hope at the moment. Just got to give it a proper go tomorrow. Uck tactics, match your opponent and play with intent.
 
I'm sorry to have added the most pointless thread in a long time. Sadler has had us all over and for the first time since he took over, I have massive doubts over his ambitions.
 
Yes thought new structure with Downes would help. If no one signs in the next hour then Rhodes is the only experienced striker available tomorrow, apart from Beesley who doesnt appear up to it.
