Can't argue with any of what he said. Wouldn't get a word in edgeways .
He's right tho. To a degree Barnet are over performing , will never be a big club...too close to Tottenham , Arsenal etc . So to be pushing for promotion where they are on a regular basis is very decent indeed
 
Imagine if Steve Bruce said that, this forum would have a meltdown, probably calling for him to be sacked. 😂

Yeh, far too many, especially on here.
We should be setting our sights on Gillingham, Newport and Bromley in the not too distant future.
What on earth are the likes of Bournemouth and Brentford thinking, trying to get as high up the footballing pyramid as they can 🤦

Supporters of whatever club in the land react the same.
When they win, they're happy, when they lose, they'll moan.

Just to mention, just because a supporter wants the best for their club does not make them entitled 👍🏻
 
He has a good win percentage and his career looks to be progressing. The sort of hunger, enthusiasm and commitment that i like to see from a head coach.
When you get a Grayson or a McCarthy in the latter stages of their career you often lose this, somebody like Alex Ferguson never lost it, be interesting to see what we get with Steve Bruce.

I think he comes across as a spoilt brat having a meltdown and seemingly unable to handle the pressures and criticisms that come with managing a football team. He was also incredibly aggressive and unprofessional.

I think he was more protecting his players rather then himself ,because a few hurty words aimed at young players can effect their confidence and moral .
If you take a few hurty words and aimed them at school kids or teenagers ,you end up with a few suicides , but we all have our different opinions.

Professional footballers do need to have a thicker skin, much like musicians, actors, politicians generally people in the public eye but we have to remember that they are real people and not just punch bags for our frustration and anger.
