Truss is a poor Thatcher tribute act and will be controlled by the ERG nutters who have backed her. I am guessing that she has had voice coaching to make her sound more like Thatcher. It's at a similar pitch.
She will bang on about delivery but the trade deals she has made with Australia and Japan discriminate against British farmers. A trade war with the EU is a likely outcome of a Truss premiership.
My understanding of what she has said is that she plans to borrow money to fund tax cuts which will probably stoke inflation. This is most un-Thatcherite, Thatcher gave tax cuts when there was money available.
Hopefully she will not make too much of a mess before the next election.

What an absolute and utter shit show. All useless c**nts. I tend to swing both ways but this particular Tory iteration really do take the fkn biscuit. The only person from the cabinet who gives any hint of being a mature, competent individual imo is Ben Wallace - the fact he is having nothing to do with this is further to credit. Johnson surrounded himself with sycophants and somehow the Tory party decide which of those particular twats gets to lead the country. It seems more reasonable that if their PM turns out to be shite, the people should get to review all parties at a GE and we can make our choice.
Appreciate Boris would still be around in that scenario because they wouldn’t have given up power but…

Yes, I heard that borrowing to pay for tax cuts and couldn't believe it! I'm all for borrowing for investment, (you can't keep an old Keynesian down), but to use it for short term give aways and in a way that favourably improves the disposable income of those who are already well off more than those who are struggling - it's nuts!

True about Ben Wallace Dr, he’s biding his time and will jump in as a candidate at the next GE while a Rishi shitstorm builds up to that point! IMO
