Shocked that we haven't brought in a decent central defender yet - Santos for Bolton was exactly what we needed - big, powerful, quick (beat Lavery for pace), good positioning and assured on the ball. If we had someone like that we probably wouldn't have conceded so many comedy poor goals this season. Still hoping the recruitment team are working on a deal today. And a shame we didn't go in for Charlie Goode again - he had all the attributes we needed ( apart from the dodgy hamstring)

He’s got an injured calf on Tuesday night and went for a scan yesterday apparently

Same Santos who basically pocketed all of our attacking players away on his own. Monster of a CB and definitely Championship quality.

Bit lacklustre on the ball though.
