I can. I'd be amazed if they didn't.
Think his old fella has just left Stoke as well in a reshuffle. Would have been a good optional extra in league one before we got Simms in. Not sure if he's ready to be a weekly championship battering ram shithouse yet. Maybe Burnley/Kompany who are virtually up already and he can score the goals that put the gloss on their scores.

So PNE had a bit of money from Hemmings Jr, to sign Archer from Villa on loan....But Archer decided Middlesborough was the better option....
I think we can all agree that he chose well.
Yesterday PNE got a young lad from Everton......who only turned 20 in December.
And sorry, he's not 23, which I did mention and this seems to have caused a major meltdown with the older PNE fans on PneisOnline throwing their flags out of their prams because I was 'lying'.....it's wasn't lying.....I just don't give a shit!!!
And now they have signed another lad who has struggled in the Championship with Stoke.
He's got 1 goal in 7 games

But look on the bright side...Think of all those bright new flags you are getting, so you can silently wave them at the opposition....

FWIW, I think you’ll (annoyingly) stay up. But I don’t know why you aren’t strengthening at the back. Bowler was very much a ‘appease the fans’ signing, very good player, but I don’t think he was needed.
The playoff thread is absolutely hilarious. Up there with most delusional thread of the year already and we’re barely half way through January!

Of course we are winless for a while, some circumstances led to that, illness and injuries, poor summer window, some we just needed to do better.
But we have far better options now.
Talk of playoffs is silly and some probably on a wind up plus a few excitable individuas, we just need to ensure we get some wins and stay up, a much better chance of doing it with the sqaud improvements.
It's not necessarily that we might not now be good enough to compete or beat teams up there, we'll find that out on Sat and I think we have some real attacking talent, but we're too far behind and in a relegation battle and also need to find some form. If somehow we manage to win the next few in a row I might reasess what's possible. But we've had back to back wins once I think...
Bowler was needed, adds to the quality but also raised confidence instantly. As for defenders, well we have a defensive mid arrived, a RB signed in summer but joined in Jan, also after a CB who is meant to be a target and presumably the next one in, so be patient, I know you're excited.

I am absolutely buzzing, yes....
We've been down the route of buying players who excel in the LOI. Absolutely no guarantee they will come good. For some bizarre reason we decided that was the best route to go down and signed some absolutely dreadful footballers. Not saying Lyons will be the same but its a very big step up from ultimately non-league football to Championship.
No doubting Bowler's quality, and Poveda seems to be hitting form, but I personally don't think the latter keeps you up on his own (as some seem to have hinted at on here and on the socials).
Time will tell. Hopefully a good drubbing tomorrow and all will be doom and gloom again!
