Critchley says hes excited by Dembele and his ability. But a comment of his seems slightly ominous to me, given what we've seen so far this season.

meaning we will try to shoehorn him into the wrong position.

He can play on the wing or off the striker as well as attacking mid according to my Celtic friends

Talk about taking an isolated quote out of context!!!

How about you quote the complete interview !!

He immediately follows that up with..

“He can play on the outside or the inside. He’s got an eye for finding pockets and space on the pitch.
“He just brings us a different dimension.

Essentially what he means is that the player can offer flexibility in different games, by playing on either side.
 
Always thought Wes Hoolahan was difficult player to pigeonhole. He wasn't a winger or midfielder or striker he was basically a player who could make things happen, find pockets of space and unbalance defenses
