Dentist recommendations

I was previously with Oasis dental care however the NHS dentist left & was never replaced. I've since tried Synergy on Central Drive who lead you in with an initial £20 check up before the eye watering charges begin. I bracket private dentists alongside vets & solicitors as robbing bastards.
Any recommendations would be appreciated. Tempted to go Turkey teeth & be done with it.

Good look with that most dentists are now private or don't take anymore NHS patients on.
I got kicked off my dentist recently as they went private and managed to get on the NHS patients only on King st in town(The Old Hop Inn pub).

You might have to be put on a waiting list until some leaves or passes away but they are massively cheaper than my last one.

Cheers Ps. I'll try them.
Was hoping some private dentist maybe less Dick Turpin than others 🤷‍♂️

My step-son's son is coming up two years of age and his mother told me that there is no automatic registration of new-borns with a dentist. It's like living in a third world country. I know some won't like it but this has happened on this Government's watch. The next Government must, as a priority, start to pay dentists properly for their NHS work and require them to take a quota of NHS work as a condition of their registering to practise.

I cycle with one of the dentists from the hop inn practice (I won't name him for obvious reasons)
In his opinion the demise of the NHS dentist started with the Blair Brown government.

Yes, possibly. However, no successive Government has seen fit to arrest this decline. It is something that should be a priority for the next Government of any colour. Of course, I want a Labour Government and this goes to the very heart of their principles. So I have very definite expectations of them.
