Harsh on Joseph, I challenge any player to play to their full capacity under Critchley. Look at Lavery, he looks lost. Norburn who's been so highly rated everywhere he's been before, crap for us. Byers, one of the best CM in the league last season, looks no where near that for us. I can keep going. When you have so many players all not reaching their potential then it's not the players that need looking at, it's the man in charge.
 
Surely it wont be long before we hear 'as long as its mathematically possible we will keep going and believing' Football cliche top ten right there.

And all you see is Blackpool players pointing backwards every time . If it's any consolation , I dipped in and out of a few games this afternoon and they were shocking as well.
Just have a look at Swindon's 2nd goal against Notts County. Horror show

He's not the only one but yet again today he's missed a glorious chance. The rest cost bobbins but this lad cost the club close on £1M. That's why I'm more critical of him.

A managerial change, some signings, ST deal and a fresh season of hope and it would be pretty easy to create a buzz for next season.

Or we could stick as we are and hope our safe, ineffective football suddenly changes.

Sadler has already said he will be our manger next season so no chance of a new manager.

This team lacks any fight or character. Taking after the manager. He is the teacher you knew you could take the piss out off and do fuck all in lesson. I grew up with managers like Billy Ayre who got every ounce out of bang average players and was inspirational . King Billy would have this lot top of the league.

The "glorious" chance was blocked quickly, and he set up Carey who should have done better, so on another day could have had a goal and assist.
Far too early to write him off.

Agreed unlike the anonymous Norburn & Byers.

We have really missed some attacking intent in the middle of the park - Albie Morgan has been a big miss.

He scuffed the first effort but fair enough the follow up was a decent block. Good strikers score chances like that though.

A number 9 with not a shred of confidence . Different matter entirely. He has good feet and a decent footballing brain . Just hasn't happened for him. But it just hasn't really happened for far too many players this season. Coincidence ? We'll see next season

What else could he say, he gets us up or he's gone.

Of course he'll be probably inclined to stick with him but I'd say it's less likely if we aren't showing any improvement and just crumble away.

There's also smart football people at the club who are paid to assist in these decisions.
 
It all boils down to. Critchley cannot motivate the players. This squad should be doing so much better, we are lacking a head figure, someone the players fear.

How the hell can you say that when u have Beesley stinking the gaff out every week. At least they look like they’re interested and try and run behind defences.
 
At best I thought we might nick a point today but alas they are a better side than us - fighting and winning to get auto promotion

Next 3 games determine our season - 7 points required to be in it ,however the momentum appears to be with the imps

Backtracking big style I see. He made more of an impact in 20 mins than Beesley in 70. Criminal team selection today, just glad I don’t bother with away games anymore

Thought he was crap myself. His highlight was beating 2 players nicely n with 4 pool players in the box he softly passed it straight to their player. I’d have subbed him at half time myself n Beesley too. Both crap today imo

No great surprise to me that our most attacking phase of the game came when Virtue replaced Norburn.
Unfortunately Virtue will probably be in Championship with Lincoln next season, and backpass Norburn will still be our captain.

Cautious conservative Critchley strikes again. Couldn't score in a month of Sundays. No urgency even in last 10 minutes. Gave them too much respect. Rinse and repeat. Critchley has to go he has had his chance and been found wanting. He has not come up with a solution and that's his job. It's awful to watch and once the goal went in that was it we were never getting back into it. Critchley should be getting more out of these players away from Bloomfield. Nowhere near good enough and very frustrating. Season ticket sales will be down if he is still here come the end of the season for sure.

If we played him in his best position and started him to get him a run of games, it might surprise you but he’d be much better.

2 goals is nowhere near good enough but I’d have him playing over Beesley and Lavery any day of the week cos he can do everything they can and other stuff much better.

If he’s our big signing we should be building the team to get the best out of him.

Nahhhhh… let’s make 30 passes between our centre backs to launch it to Dembele.
