THAT went well didnt it. After THREE Months at Ross County he hands in his resignation. After leaving a decent club like Morecambe . They as far as i could see backed him as far as they could. Walks out and then effs at a Supposed Bigger club. Dont know much about Scottish Football but at least he knew where he was at the Shrimps.

By all accounts he soon regretted taking the job.

He didn’t endear himself to the locals by slaughtering the standard of Scottish football after a Ross County game.

He said that Morecambe were “100 times better” than what he had seen that night. Hilarious

There was an article about them at the weekend. I'm sure it was the historical look backs at the Saint & Greavsie programmes, and they featured Ross as I remember them from that period - a good Scottish non league side who usually caused some big waves in the Cup.

I'm sure they talked about the population of Dingwall being 4k, unless I misheard it. I know there'll be a catchment area (if north of Inverness isn't a contradiction of that term), but all the same to get where they have is very impressive.

It seemed to me that he left Morecambe because of the state of play there making life very difficult. The ongoing ownership issue. Wears his heart on his sleeve. I like him. His teams play with some style and verve. From what i've seen, which admittedly isn't a huge amount.

BUT this guy cant decide what the eff he wants. Management IS a precarious profession but i wouldnt have this clown anywhere a club if it was min e.

At least he doesn't hang around stinking the place out. 😉
yes i would have thought that. jed Brannan seems to be making a decent job of it. Staying in League two would be about as good as it gets for the Shrimps. And being a seaside club i do root for them matchday. the lancs guy Derek Quinn is a real fan ./ correspondent.

Adams did 4 years at Plymouth 2015 to 2019 and got them promoted to L1. Got sacked and went to Morecambe. Got morecambe promoted and and was then sacked after less than 2 years at the club. Went to bradford and was sacked after 7 months to make way for mark hughes. Went back to morecambe, who had sacked him, and did another 20 months, punching well above their weight, finishing 9th in L1 on a tiny budget. Left to go back to ross county having complained about the way the club was being run at Morecambe. It cuts both ways and he's had a fair amount of success as a manager.

fair comment.

He's a very capable manager but hasn't got a shred of loyalty. I don't think he was sacked by Morecambe the first time. Just walked out straight after the play off final win to go to Bradford if I remember. He left them in a bit of a mess timing wise.

Strangely enough we once had a manager who left our club to move onto a bigger club and we all saw how well that ended too. It’s just one of life’s “in hindsight” moments. I’m sure we’d have still been a Championship team if the inevitable hadn’t happened.

Behind the scenes Morecambe is a mess. They are broke. He left due to this. He had bigger ambitions than Morecambe but really he's not as good as he thinks. Morecambe's head groundsman left at a similar time for a PremierLeague club. The replacement walked after 2 weeks. They are at their level mid table league 2 but financially they are struggling.
