I'm so bored of the season and indeed people being bored of the season, there's nothing new to say and hasn't been for weeks so...

Lets do a quiz thread to give us something else to think about.

No googling please.

My question:

Which former Blackpool FC player is now the CEO of a UK football club?

Good question!

I’d have to google so will wait for the answer on here.
Likewise, I was surprised to read Jason Wilcox was wanted as Director of Football at Man United

Clue please - is this football club playing in any of the EPL, EFL or Scottish 4 division structure?

Or outside those divisions?

You get a bonus point - but it's not the answer I'm looking for!
Who was Paul Fletcher? A player the glitchy matrix has erased from my memory. Going to keep it that way as a bit of a mystery, no Google for me.

Ron Futcher keeps popping in there.

He's before my time - played about 20 games for us but he ended up at the Dingles as CEO at one point.

Is this the guy who buggered off back to Birmingham because he wasn’t getting a game with us. Right tosser

I remember him playing once and being very unremarkable.

Read a really good interview with him on Raith Rovers in a Scottish football magazine (yes, I read Scottish football magazines FFS what am I doing with my life etc)

Yep I wasn’t sure what Fletcher was doing now.

Apparently he is a “stadiumologist” ie consultant on the development of new stadiums. Was involved initially with the John Smiths in Huddersfield and various others.

He didn’t certainly didn’t utilise that particular skill set at Turf Moor…….

Pretty sure he was behind the Reebok development at Bolton as well.

There was talk of him coming in to oversee the Whyndyke development, or at least his company.

I'm pretty sure Paul Fletcher scored in the 2-0 win at Rotherham on the last day of the season in 1980 or 81 to prevent us dropping to the fourth division for the first time. I remember him running around the pitch looking pretty past it.

Q. When Billy Ronson left Blackpool in 1986 he went to the USA and played and coached there til he retired from the game in 1999. In which city did he do the majority of his playing and coaching over there? (He sadly passed away at the age of just 58 in 2015).
