Do Sadler and Mansford favour boring / defensive football?

Not a dig, as each to their own and there’s been a lot of successful ‘defensive’ managers. But between Grayson, Critchley, Appleton and Mick, there’s not been an overly ‘attacking’ appointment so far, despite us having some decent attacking players.

This is a quote from one of my posts tonight.

If Mr Sadler is not pissed off and worried at 2 pm and 6:45 pm when the teams have been announced almost all season then there is something seriously amiss upstairs.

SS blueprint is attacking exciting football
SS maiden speech at the Corner Flag for the selective few (supporters/trust representatives) he made the outlandish boast of Premiership football ! looking a million miles , doesn't even look favourable to consolidate a championship place currently. I think along with the,' "attacking exciting Football " blueprint' that has been discarded to.

Tbf to SS wanting exciting premiership standard football is one thing, achieving it is another. He doesn’t pick the players and tactics

Style of Play should flow through everything about the club. It influences player recruitment, it influences manager appointments, coaching and staffing and scouting appointments, if you are looking at buying young, developing and selling for a profit it will also influence which players you take or don't take as to whether they fit in with your style of play to show off their attributes to make the most money. It will also influence increasing fan bases and reputation.
Hate to say it but we have been totally scattergun about everything

The only way we get Premiership football is if we move to Scotland (and that standard is crap, believe me).

When the feck are people going to drop this 'premiership' nonsense? It's the PREMIER LEAGUE! You know...the one where Charley Adams played for us 😄

Brilliant get chastised by a poster for inadvertently using the term premiership instead of the official PREMIER LEAGUE but as the previous poster noticed they referred to the legend Charlie Adam as Charley Adams ! Ironic

Ffs.... whoosh! Obviously flew straight over your head. Charlie was one of my all time heroes along with Tommy Hutchinson and Ronnie Pickering.

Along with the blueprint for the training ground

if you were the owner of a Football club, or any other business and performance was poor, you’d be asking the question ‘why’ and trying to sort things - surely…? Seems everyone has given up - even the owner.

Sadler is the custodian and business owner of our club. Getting involved in what team the manager picks and how he sets up would be unprofessional.
