Do we think Stewart will still be here next season?

I think if he’s not I would love to see something else in the centre of midfield - a player like Southern, Vaughan or Claus who will just bring the ball forward - rare you see anyone doing that in this side.
 
Dougall and Stewart need an attacking midfielder in front of them, like Vaughan and Southern had in Adam. That way they can focus on what they're best at in their defensive duties and the a CAM can do the driving forwards for 'em.

Can see us picking a player of that style up considering how much we went after Brannigan from Oxford in January.

It sounds like you are not impressed with him , which I find strange as (when fit) he
is by far our best player, he is a class player & think he is only affordable for us due to his injury record.
 
If we trust he is over his injuries then yes, with his family Maury record they won’t be teams fighting to sign him. He is however a class above when fit so I’d keep him.

Our best player and yes I think he will be here. Brannagan will probably be here too soo with Kenny and Sonny we should have decent cover in CM.
 
I've loved KS's work since he came back. It had been that long since I saw him I'd half forgotten what he was really about.

We absolutely haven’t. He’s expecting a move here if Oxford don’t go up. In fact I’m led to believe he’s been promised it. Wasn’t a happy lad on Jan 31. Desperately wants to come and play for Critch.

Partly it depends on Oxford and the money they want, and with Carey, Virtue and possibly Ward back for next season I think the priorities have changed and the money might be better spent elsewhere.
 
I think he will stay, the interesting point will be who NC moves out🤔he has proven to be fairly ruthless in closed season and this squad needs a number of changes if it is to progress to be serious top 6 contenders. I expect a few surprises with who leaves us, but not Stewart.
