Do you run coaches to games - if so please read this OR pass it on to anyone who does?

On the new BST website there is currently a hidden page which we want to make live asap to help all Blackpool fans.

This page is called "Travel" and we want to list all coaches (or boats) going to games with contact details, pick up, cost, still got seats etc so Blackpool Fans can easily find one if they want to go.

If you are interested in being on this page (or indeed if you are not, so we don't try and track you down) please could you either leave a message on this thread or PM me on this site or email: listening@blackpoolsupporterstrust.com

We plan to email the coaches going to games out ot the membership, probably 7-14 days before each game (or shortly after tickets go on sale) with the details as well.

Please note BST has no intention of running coaches, but think it would be a good idea to help the coach providers fill their coaches with willing paying Blackpool Fans.

Everyone wins 👍

Good feature this.

Could be good if the Manc Seasiders, Yorkies and whatever other supporters groups out there could use it too. Means BFC fans can get to games cheaper opposed to individual cars and trains.

It’s as only as good as the groups signing up, it may take a bit of time to gain traction but I am sure it will.

If anyone can share this thread with any supporters groups who run coaches it would be a massive help. 👍

I think it’s great thing. Might work better if you put a drop down filter on it so organisers can make it clear like ‘no Doris’, ‘no shirts’, ‘mobile pharmacy’ etc so the upstanding amongst us can avoid the wrong sort. Can be a long day otherwise. Here to help.
We are only accepting coaches with a teddy on the dashboard- just so you know 👍

Good idea.
But the first point of call for putting on coaches like the majority of clubs should be the club itself not when it suits.

That way everyone knows where they stand so someone on a Tuesday night away to Cheltenham can get there as not many will want to put a coach on for that game.

Aren't Ossie & Shep still running coaches?

Great idea.

I think I would be tempted to have details on webpage and send out the link. Then when coaches full etc if u strike through/ sold out the organiser not gonna get constant text/ calls. Whilst if u email details out it won't be updated.

Just my thoughts especially when we storm the league and everyone wants to go... there phones will be like the bat phones

That is exactly the plan 👍

Yorkshire Seasiders' coaches are normally sold out with members taking up the seats, however I have forwarded this message to our Secretary, Chairman, Vice Chairman and Travel Secretary for consideration. Yes we are that well organised, and offer reduced costs to out members when we run them.
