Dobbie

This is surely a wind up? You need to ask yourself, if he’s that good a manager like a lot of people on here make out, why has there been zero interest from other clubs for his services?

We need an actual proper manager.
Dobbie was the only glimmer of hope and excitement from a team already in the throes of death at the tail end of last season. He may not have been ripping up any trees this season as Critchley has insisted that every single squad or group of players at Blackpool Football Club buy into his shit brand of football.

Besides he knows the team, he loves the club and most importantly he's not going to be any worse than the clown with all the certificates ruining the show currently.

Such as
Grayson,Appleton,Critchley or McCarthy.
I actually wanted Evatt whilst still at Barrow, but for some reason he was thought inexperienced.
Rather go for inexperience but willing to learn that a know it all like Critchley

I dont think his experience was the issue tbf As much as I respect Evatt he has a lot of baggage and that puts some owners off. I too would have liked him!

We also missed out on the inexperienced Liam Rosenior (who I was quite excited about at the time) and look how badly he's doing.
He's only managed to get Hull into 7th place in the Champiinship, so far.
Rosenior was the brains behind Rooney’s ‘relative’ success at Derby. Whilst he may not have had management experience he’d certainly been groomed for a role in management from an early age.

He would have been an inspired appointment for Blackpool. God only knows what scuppered that deal, assuming we were genuinely in for him. It was one I was really really disappointed by.

To be fair to Sadler Rosenior was ambivalent with respect to joining Blackpool. He stalled to see if Rooney was leaving to go to DC United. Then didn't last long when he did get the Derby job.

Dobbie would need to have a very experienced No2 and coaching staff behind him for it to work. l think Charlie has done this at Codwood 🤷‍♂️
