Dobbie

Not me, you only hear from the Dobbie army when we lose no one said anything after last Saturdays result

No what the Critchley detractors got last week was a load of abuse from the Critchley lovers. I personally blocked up to 6 accounts on Facebook alone from posters who were getting rather aggressive, 2 of whom I've known for over 30 years and over 40 years respectively.

Hell it was almost as if the Critchley bum spiders hadn't entertained the thought that fellow fans have seen too many shit performances and are only wanting better. The bum spiders it seems don't want to see better performances, results and atmosphere. 🤷

Don't need to i know all the results thanks, the Dobbie army wasn't on here on Saturday after that result calling for Dobbie to replace Critchley. its just the fickle lot on here looking for someone to blame.
The result on Saturday delayed the inevitable. His judgement cometh and that right soon!

One thing i am not being is aggressive or abusive, i say what i think in a way that suits the thread, you have your opinion and i have mine, I am not a hater or lover of Critchley i just look at the bigger picture for the club and for me things will get better i would like to think that you will respect that

IMO not a chance, we will still be having this conversation this time next year and the Dobbie army will still be rattling their cages.
Even is Critchley left for whatever reason Dobbie wouldn't be the man for the job. Only my opinion

I'm not accusing you personally. What I'm saying is that the fanbase is more fractured now than it has been for a long time. I personally don't know how much longer I can be arsed with it. I'd rather get on with my life doing the things I enjoy. Following BFC isn't enjoyable at the moment. I'm sure many will follow suit too. Going to watch your team shouldn't be a chore or about paying penance. And it shouldn't make you miserable or a contributory factor in falling out with people you've got along really well with for decades.

i understand your feelings, and you are correct getting wound up and falling out with people its not worth it if you feel that strongly about it, personally i love the club always have and have a strong affiliation with it but i never let it get to me, life is to short. Just think whatever you do won't change anything you can only change anything going forward.
Contact you mates and make it up it really isn't worth it

And I respect your opinion; mine is that NC will be gone by Q3 of FY24-25 in Sadler’s terms and by Nov in football terms. He is a lame duck.

Villa and QPR saw that in a brief period of time and they acted accordingly.

That's fine only time will tell, neither of us know what is going to happen, i hope you are wrong which will mean we will be doing ok.

I've never thought of it as a chore or penance. It's a good day out with like minded people.

You should try it.

He is sucking the life and enjoyment out of the club. The football is depressingly dull and as a way of suppressing the parvenu Dobbie he has insisted his, and all other squads, employ his crap formations and dire, turgid style of football.

Will maintain that one of Sadler's biggest mistakes was not giving Dobbie a bigger role within the management team because he will go at some point and we've lost a really useful and valuable person when he does.

Sadler specifically said at the time that he offered Dobbie a place in the management team and Dobbie turned it down.

Just throwing this out there Dobbies youth team not exactly pulling up trees. If he was the Messiah they would be beating all and sundry. For me he is not the answer

The Development squad seem to have lost a good few players to loans out of the club. I believe they are also forced to play the same formation as the first team.
Not sure you can put any of that at his door.

You"re spot on there. The Dev Squad is frequently an extension of the U18s playing against older and more experienced players. When he had a full strength squad at his d isposal we thrashed the Nobbers 4-0.
As an aside I'm led to believe when we beat Blackburn in a bounce game this week (4-0) Dan Sassi looked useful.
As for Dobbie as a future Manager I actually see it as a positive that he's new, fresh and willingly to learn.

Half of development are out on loans, so he is working with an ever changing squad. Maybe we could sign him as, an emergency striker
