Celtic let his contract run out and leave the club at 19 after playing 8 games and scoring 1 goal
Brest let him play 16 times and then let him leave on loan....Maybe because his contract finishes in July of this year

Now.....how many clubs will be calling him and offering a contract....but in reality, it's Critch that's got the best out of the lad and is developing him.

He’s the Development squad manager, trusted with bringing through the young players. Why wouldn’t he have got the best out of Dembele?
As for Critch developing Dembele he was playing for Celtic’s under 20 squad when he was 13. It’s not like he’s come from nowhere.

100% would have had more points and been in the Top six - not saying he'd have got us promoted but the feel good from the stands and the football would have been worth the gamble.

It`s rather depressing to know as soon as you seen the name beside the posts on here that with some you know exactly what nonsense is coming next before even suffering the pain of reading their oh so predictable contributions.

Eg Allez is consistently clueless as once again is illustrated above but maybe he has never fully recovered from the time we saw on here that he had the serious misfortune to collide with a lamppost.So some understanding and sympathy should be extended to him.

BFC x 3 on the other hand demonstrates he is a persistently opinionated know all, misguided and personally offensive in equally large measures. Qualities he never fails to exhibit on here which is indeed
a pretty unpleasant combination.

As for whether Dobbie would have done a better job than Critch. that is completely impossible to say at this stage but if he has an ounce of positivity ,motivating powers and inspiration in him then that would surely give him a very big advantage.
