Does anyone find Peter Crouch funny?

Notice that bloody awful BBC1 show is on later. Does anyone find this bloke who has made a reputation out of being quirky because he once did a robot dance the slightest bit funny?

Abbey Clancy probably does.
To bring this back to football Peter used to watch the Cods in their non league days when Sean Clancy (Abbey's brother) was playing for them.
Sean played a couple of games for Blackpool as a 16 year old in 2004 but wasn't kept on.

Can't say I do find him funny. A workmate tried to get me in to his podcast but it was just a little bland imo... humour is subjective and all that.

People keep telling me to listen the podcast and I really don't want to. It's not him particularly, he seems a decent enough lad. It's that he chats to some of those 'banter' presenters that seem to have infected the sports broadcasting world and I can't stand that shite. It's fine when there's a presenter who has a natural good humour and charm and a good reparte with a guest but it's now a coached style and as such isn't genuine 'banter' but a load of shit. I hate the fake mateyness that seems to be everywhere.

Give me serious voiced fellas in proper jackets smoking as they read match reports and James Alexander Gordon reading the final scores over people doing fake belly laughs every five minutes and calling each other by their nicknames.

I saw about 2 minutes of his show and wanted to pull my toenails off.

We watched the first week, never again. What a pile of crap.
Ditto - in fact I think I watched the opening of the first show and it all felt so very awkward that I switched off. I do quite like the podcast but this was a bad idea from the start and everyone who was on that first show looked a bit embarrassed to be there.

Watch some of the later ones. Obvious that everyone on the show is having enormous fun. Whether the viewer feels the same is up to you.

Maya Jama? Now you're talking, I don't no who's more stunning her or Abbey Clancy.

If Crouch worked in a supermarket and wasn't a footballer, he'd be lucky if Abbey would ask him to get something down from a high shelf 🥴

Here's a famous Peter Crouch quote to expand upon that..

INTERVIEWER: "What would you be if you wasn't a footballer?"
CROUCH: "A virgin"

😂
