The current Government don't seem to be bothered by the fact that they're ** useless, to quote the PM. As I said, if people think that's OK, then that's their prerogative, but eventually they'll be shat on. Government based on lies will end badly.

It’s not ok and it’s far from ok.

One thing DC did say that I agree with is that if the best the UK can offer is BJ v JC, then something is seriously wrong.

That’s the real problem!!

I didn't vote for anybody Wiz and my conscience would still be clear no matter who I had voted for because if I had voted that would have meant that I had put a cross in a box on a piece of paper and not signed for being responsible for the actions of whoever I voted for's party during their time in office.

It's as if you are looking to impose your own views on others Wiz and without having a stewards enquiry over every topic, I'm afraid that in general people are far more satisfied with the Government than you are.

If you genuinely believe that those who vote for a political party have some sort of responsibility then I'm struggling to understand why your conscience is clear ?

I'm assuming that you voted for the Labour Party and if that's the case, then I'd have to ask why they are falling so far behind the Conservative Party - the party that you spend so much time informing of us of their terrible performance in office ?

One thing I will certainly agree with you on is that it will all end in tears, politicians are like football managers in that no matter how great they are or once were, there time will be up at one point.

I've said far too much Wiz but I'm out and I'm happy for you to think what you like about the Government, it's got nothing to do with what I think and my actions won't change anything, the only person I've voted for at a General Election is Andy Higgins.

Im not trying to impose my views at all, simply expressing them. What people make of that is down to them.

I don't want to go on Wiz but you are trying to impose your views on folk and I'm sure plenty would say that's what such debate is all about.

What I'm saying is that you are telling us all that the Government is chite, etc, etc and that those who voted for them and defend them should have it on their conscious but the league table suggests that they are performing far far better than their only serious rival.

Maybe those that voted for the Conservatives are happy that they selected the most viable option and that their performance in office has done nothing for them to change their minds ?

I'm struggling to see anybody who may have voted for the Government constantly praising them but I can see plenty who voted for the opposition and spend their time complaining about every single thing the Government does.

Personally, I could and have been critical of the Government but I'd far rather have them in power than the available alternatives and they are not going to let me run the country anytime soon.

AVFTT is not the real world, it just has a far bigger percentage of lefties than other places and time and time again we hear them banging on about some earth shattering scandal that nobody outside in the real world could give a chite about.

Maybe that tells you something about the real world(c), anyway, why would this forum have a higher left thinking proportion than the real world (c)? It's a football forum, hardly the usual refuge of the more left leaning demographic

I'm not suggesting that the football forum is generally the usual refuge of the more left leaning demographic Lytham, it's just variance and in my opinion this particular forum has a higher number of lefties expressing political opinion.

It's a football forum as you say and it doesn't matter what happens on a football forum as you often say, their just happens to be a number of left leaning folk who complain about the Government most of the time they are on here.

That's not a problem, it's just that in my opinions at times the opinions expressed on here are not in line with the majority view expressed outside this forum, that's not necessarily a problem either.

It might tell me that the real world is not as concerned that the PM has been calling a Minister names or that the UK has decided to leave the EU as some on here.

I have been critical of the Government over certain matters myself but I am not holding the electorate responsible for the actions of the Government.

If you don't think that the majority expressing political opinions on here are left leaning then that's fair enough then, no problem and just ignore all the above and we will just have to disagree on that.
