Don’t know if it’s cause I’m pissed but…

Is anyone bothered we lost? Fair enough we lost to a shite team with a point to prove but I think critch has got one eye on next season and took a risk with the team. I’m a wee bit drunk so I’m merry but overall it’s been a good season. If the nobbers are bragging that they finished above a newly promoted league one team then it just shows how far they’ve fallen.

I'm pissed, too, and I'm not really bothered. 😆

I think we fans think that Critch wants the same as us. We want to go out with a goal fest and a celebration. We want to finish above the Nobbers. Critch knows we want that, but it's more important to him to look at all the players in his squad before the end of the season, and decide who he can improve, and who must go.

Today, those two "needs" didn't coincide. I still trust him, though, (for now). 😄

If He wants to look at fringe players isn't that why we have bounce games?
I'm not sure Critch does understand what the fans want, if he did he wouldn't have spouted the shite he did after the defeat at Deepdale.

I’m bothered! We lost 7-0 to two teams already relegated. I’m really fearful for next season, this group of players just aren’t good enough and the manager tinkers too much with the formation for me.

Only a few pints in to the evening . On one side, there's the worry that we've ended the season very badly (Brum and Luton aside), and that we could carry that poor form into next season.

On the other, I'm glad Critch has had the opportunity to see how fringe and youth players are in a competitive game, and therefore that he's learned that we need a fair few signings to improve next season, and where.
I don't think bounce games give Critch that information.

I wanted to finish above Preston, but I'm not gutted that we haven't. We're on the up after years of mismanagement and we've had a great season overall. Never looked forward to a summer of transfer dealings so much in all my time supporting us. Knowing that funds from player sales are going back into the club helps!!

A scoreline like Peterborough 5 Blackpool 0 is never pleasant, regardless of the circumstances, so yeah I can't say I don't care, it wounded me a bit and I didn't even go.

I would be worried if that had been the first game of season! It's funny how quickly fans lose sight of the bigger picture and how far we have progressed since SS inherited a shambolic, car wreck of a club. I was annoyed at the result and performance but I would still rather be a Blackpool fan than P'Boro or Derby this morning. The fact is there is probably only one player, Connolly, from the starting line up yesterday who has a realistic chance of being in the first game proper of the new season.

Yeh like you mate it hasn’t ruined my weekend, however, if I had made the effort to go there and support that I may be a little more angry about it! But your point is valid, over the season we have been value for money👍

I actually thought it was a very useful result.

Indicates exactly where we need to strengthen this summer. No papering over the cracks this time or starting the season, for example, with an incomplete defence or a creatively lacking midfield.
