By far the best co-commentator on Sky Sports. Maybe it’s a nostalgic thing for me because he was always on the Pool games in that magic season in 2010 and he obviously loves the pool from the way he talks/talked about us…

Or maybe it’s because he’s not friggin Gary Neville or Jamie Carragher. One of which talks a great game and had a disastrous managerial career and the other which would talk a great game if he could talk.

100% agree .. can't believe that Radio Lancs don't use Colin Greenall more than they do .. haven't been as engaged this season with iPlayer for obvious reasons (ie attendance!!) but do Burgess and Brett still get a look in.

Bretts on quite a lot , Burgess only occasionally. Greenall probably in the middle of those two. I suppose they all have other jobs and it's a sideline.

Someone who knows football inside out, and always gives a fair comment.

I always liked him as a player so it was a massive disappointment during the boycott to hear him say live on radio (Talksport I think) that we should "get back to supporting our team". Not the only pundit to spout such arrant ill-informed rubbish, I also remember Micky Gray doing the same and flaxen haired gobshite Simon Jordan offering a spirited defence of Joffrey. They are all dead to me

Goodman is definitely a top bloke.
