People only get to the ‘top’ when given a chance. We’re not a premier league club. He at least gets the club and area and cares. Give him a try.

What experience did he have of appointing managers?

None before he went and got McCarthy

CD is a great lad and he’s also an intelligent and very personable character. It doesn’t surprise me at all that he’s been successful so far and I’m sure that he will continue to be so.

As a Club, I think it makes sense (wherever possible) to fill roles with talented individuals who have demonstrated a commitment and desire to work at Blackpool FC.
