Every time a game comes around for us to actually catch up we mess it up, but not just mess it up, it's barely even football on offer.

TBH it's a disgrace given the squad we've got.

Where is the improvement and the plan we're playing towards?

I'd rather we stuck with the early season style where we mostly dominated with possession and had no cutting edge.

Doing that every game would have improved us at it over time and with players like Dembele etc then in there to be the link from pointless possession to something meaningful, we'd be able to dominate sides and use our flair players to create the magic, overwhelm sides.

We just seem to have gone to long aimless hopeful balls pumped up, like the commentators said too. Lazy and useless.

Not good enough at this stage into a season, should be really coming together by now.

We need a good summer window, which is perfectly possible.

I'm not confident in NC being able to get us to play the football required.

That could be wrong, it could be the players, but for me we see lesser sides more capable of passing and being set up to pass effectively. He sets up and motivates the players.

They don't look a coherent unit or with any idea of what to do.

His last 3 jobs have failed, Villa he was heavily involved, those ex players with experienced number 2's are almost a co manager. Better players didn't respond to his and Gerrards tactics and he'll have been the one implementing them, doing the training etc. Look at them now.

QPR was a disaster and a mess anyway but he didn't solve it and they've actually begun to turn things round more recently.

Here he has a squad of players, many with championship experience, some great signings like Rhodes, Dembele who's at times too good for league 1, the most expensive forward maybe in the league...

We have a good capable squad, the home form shows us that, we can beat most sides in the division on our day, but fold like a deckchair away, not even having shots on target, incapable of being able to put a few passes together without hoofing aimlessly. Even at home at times we haven't looked to play the sort of football that'll be needed to get us up and to stay up. We wear teams down no doubt with high energy, but at times there could be a better brand of passing football that sets us up and gets us used to doing that away.
