Doom and gloom

Getting seriously fed up with this board and the current fanbase moans.

We have played 3 league games and 1 cup game. Scored 4 conceded 0. Yes had 3 boring 0-0 draws but it’s early days. Being ** booed off already. It’s entitled.

Writing players off before they have even kicked a ball for us. Slagging off the club, Critchley etc.

Not giving our new CEO a chance. criticising everything the board are doing.

If this doom and gloom carries on within fanbase, it’ll transfer to the pitch, we will finish mid table.

Seriously need to wake up, support the team, trust the club and stop turning into such an entitled fanbase

"If this doom and gloom carries on within fanbase, it’ll transfer to the pitch, we will finish mid table."

Tactics and signings transferred to the pitch threaten at best a mid-table finish.

Only more adventurous setups and higher quality recruits might secure promotion.

Call me a pedant, if you like, but we have actually played 4 league games. Perhaps you should spend more time watching the games and looking at the league table, instead of upsetting yourself reading this board.😁

How can Southern Seasider be pissed off with this board when we get posts like this⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️🤣

Paulco, always here to put a smile on the readers faces 😁

It’s like care in the community. It’s a good social experiment.

Whilst the miserable fecks are whining on here, they’re not out in society making real lives a misery with their glass smashed on the floor attitudes.

Imagine cafe owners or pubs full of the wet lettuce bed wetters on here. You’d either walk out or end up doing a Michael Douglas and getting arrested.

Well today's been a good day according to those in the know, we've signed a striker who's well past it, over the hill, totally uninspiring and a striker who is too young, inexperienced and nowhere near a first team player.

Smiles galore, amid 315 goalless minutes.

Grins hailed Appy and McCarthy's arrivals.

Faces beamed when Critchley returned.

Fans rubbed their hands in anticipation that the Yates cash would boost the squad.

It all recalls Bob Monkhouse's patter.

"People used to laugh at me when I said I wanted to be a comedian. Well they're not laughing now."

It’s because only the moaners ever post. You watch after a win, the board is soooo much quieter than when we lose.

It’s full of old clueless fuckers

So Blackpool fans can’t have a moan at Andy Lyons at left wing back and CJ at right wing back?

Is that normal?

Just asking…

Balance.

Read through your own posts everyone. How many are positive and how many are negative whines?

What % of your posts are whining miserable dirge?

It might give you an understanding of how people view you in life?

Nomatter what happens on the pitch or on AVFTT, won't make any difference to you,you will be nowhere near a Blackpool match.

They don’t understand the game or how a football club is run. Awful people in general who get a great satisfaction out of constant negativity. Unfortunately they have ruined this forum and it is very noticeable that so many of the old regular contributors are vary rarely featured.

Regarding your last sentence in particular… I often find commenting on football reflects one’s inner world. Therefore, the whiners are just pissed off at either their own feelings or certain aspects of their working week etc. Then unsuspecting players like CJ etc get the blame. The Critchley comments are almost reaching an obsession. ‘You left us, I’m so angry!’ ‘I can’t wait for you to be unsuccessful’ Etc,
In less simplified words. Freud called it ‘transference’ in psychology.

Yes, the football is a bit lacking at the moment, but I’m loving life as a Blackpool fan right now, as it feels like such a short time ago that there almost wasn’t a Blackpool team to support. What would I have done then, I don’t know. Sadler has made mistakes, but I know that he actually cares. He isn’t suing our fans and making us play on a sandy mess of shame is he?

Like any other purported entertainment, I will go if the content matches the hype.
Yeah, there's nothing like a supporter with passion for his team and you're nothing like a supporter with passion for his team.

Out of interest what was the last match that you attended?

Surely that’s what this board is about…..shit day at work, dogs crapped in your hall way, cars failed it’s MOT and your wife isn’t speaking to you? Come on here and get it all off your chest, whinge like the biggest old fart going and whine more than a thirty year old spin dryer….

free therapy for the BFC community 😃

Note the difference between passion for excitement and put up with anything.

Can you recall the most recent period that saw a consistent attacking Blackpool?

Despite other heavy commitments, that's when I last often watched the Seasiders.

Inadequate tactics and recruits suggest your user name becomes Downwards.

You're right, I will support Blackpool through thick and thin along with my 4 kids.
You have never posted anything positive, you cannot wait for things to go wrong, you're straight on here.
You are like a football horseman of the apocalypse.
You are not a pint half empty, you're a "I don't think I will bother with a pint today, for some reason I feel a bit miserable"

Do your other ‘heavy commitments’ involve writing detailed ‘captain’s logs’ and being beamed up by Scotty?

For the money forked out collectively for STs, are we not quite within our rights to be feeling just a tiny bit 'entitled', as a fanbase, in return for the investment we've all made? Call me entitled, if you must, but I would certainly have expected to see more of a return than has been on display thus far.

Do you set a good example for the kids?

Sadler:
●takes all your season ticket cash.
●restores Critchley, following poor Appleton and Grayson returns, and the McCarthy disaster.
●as with the other three flops, appoints a coach after his successive failures.
●banks millions from the Villa compensation for Critchley, besides the Bowler and Yates sales.
●spends little on quality to dire effect.

Who deems that a lesson in self respect?

I have written positive notes - if merited.

I do not pretend a half pint in a multileak glass can quench a thirst for success.

This board is merely a reflection of people's characters and their lives. Nothing more.

The slaggers and the moaners are always the more vocal.

There is some decent analysis and humorous comment amongst the drivel but it's few and far between and the shouters will always drown em out.

When you did your correspondence course in journalism, did you stop after the headline writing or did you simply fail the remainder?

As a journalist and sports editor I have written headlines, reports and analysis.

As a blind loyalist, your inability to defend the indefensible can only resort to abuse.

My inner world isnt so miserable and nightmarish that it contains inverted wingbacks, especially when those wingbacks are a one dimensional winger and an average league 1 centreback!!

Football fans pay not an inconsiderable amount to watch their team plus traveling costs etc and have a perfect right to criticize their team. Last season was an embarrassment caused really by critch walking out and two terrible manager appointments that MOST fans would not have done. I know we are only a few games in but are nearer the bottom than the top and playing catch-up. Realistically we are stuck with critch but results need to improve plus entertainment levels. It’s difficult not to be depressed after seeing yesterdays so called hi lights. Ollie made mistakes but wasn’t it exciting watching his positive team yes the best trip we have ever etc

I saw some comment that this board goes mad when we lose but not much when we win. MMMM well perhaps that's because people are content with a win & don't feel the need to analyse what we could have done better.

No you haven't - your dyslexic dirge would never get past a decent copy editor...
